Great coffee; cozy atmosphere; superb staff; stylish interior; great selection of hot chocolates; delicious snacks.
I came here regularly until about half a year ago, when I moved out of the area. Such a pity! I miss the place a great deal. Every chance I got, I would drop in for a coffee specialty and, more importantly, a friendly chat with one of the staff. The team is multi-cultural, creative with their offering, and incredibly welcoming and warm-hearted.
Gerard, if you read this, I hope things are going well! I also hope that bulletproof coffee and cold brew are staples in your menu by now 😉 For the sake of your customers, I sincerely hope that Marcin and my lovely Iraqi friend, whom I'm so sorry to say I don't remember by name, but who put a smile on my face every time I came in, are still in your employ. The Goodways Coffee is located in the lower center of überlingen and 2 minutes away from the see. On the Coffee house you can sit in a nice terrace with a direct view to the market center or you can take a seat in the Coffee house itself. The staff/waitress was helful and friendly. When it comes to the main business drinks/snacks you will be served with a good amount of various Coffee/homemade limonade/breakfast (till 12 AM)/snacks/launch etc. I had a chai latte with a mirror egg on top of a farmer bread. The chai latte was good as the snack. You have to keep in mind to be prepared of the rush hours on sundays and saturdays, the Coffee house is pretty popular ;). We had a splendid breakfast here. The centrally located bistro/restaurant near the Überlingen jetty has some outdoor tables with shades and with a bit of patience it is easy to get a seat. The staff are friendly, the prices are fair and the food is very tasty and has a pleasant size. The dish choice is wonderful, they use mostly fresh ingredients.
