Best German food I've had. What a gem we found!

2pm on Sunday, 31st of December. Everywhere seemed closed. But Klostertube wasn't! Really nice vibe, local, rustic, local pub kind of place.

Lovely local restaurant, with a lovely funny waiter that spoke great English. His mum does all the cooking and oh my, it is GOOD.

Huge portions, tasty food and cheap prices. The schnitzel with mushroom sauce and german pasta was amazing, and 14€ for that huge portion is a bargain. The goulash soup was so tasty, loved it. And the currywurst, a solid classic.

What a wonderful experience, I'd recommend everyone one to come here. 30€ for two people and a biiiig meal...

You have to come by here when you come visit Gengenbach. We stopped by around noon and decided to check out Klosterstube. The host was so warm and welcoming! He was extremely kind to our little ones and handed out pamphlets on what to do and what to see for both here and the surrounding areas. The food was delicious and affordable especially for the large portions that were served. The menu was in 3 different languages and easy to understand. There is two separate areas for the restaurant 1 smoking and 1 non smoking. A great place to eat and recharge...
