Hospitality! That's the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of this place. The host who greeted and got our orders is one of the nicest restaurant staff I have met. The place also has a very warm friendly atmosphere. But that gentleman (forgot to ask his name) seemed like the one exuding happiness as he tended to several tables simultaneously, smiling and chatting with every one. Another nice thing was the menu. They had pictures of almost all the items and description in English too, which greatly helped. We ordered grilled Turkey with fries (came with various sides), and a veg yufka, a huge roll. The turkey was perfect...juicy and delicious. I didn't taste the yufka, but my husband enjoyed it. We also had cherry nectar (cherry juice), my first time. Delicious! They also gave two portions of soft warm Turkish bread on the house. I totally recommend this place to anyone who values ambience and genuine hospitality, in addition to delicious food when eating out. It was a pleasure.

Wer Lust auf türkische Speisen hat, wird im Antikrestaurant in Konstanz fündig. Unser Besuch war ein Mix aus Licht und Schatten, oder besser gesagt: aus leckerem Brot und bitteren Zwiebeln.

Wir hatten beide einen Dönerteller mit originalem Schichtfleisch in der kleinen Variante. Als Vorspeise gab es eine nette Geste aufs Haus: Paprikapaste und Zaziki. Das selbstgemachte Brot dazu war ein echtes Highlight – frisch, fluffig und lecker! Leider war die Paprikapaste geschmacklich ein Griff ins Fettnäpfchen: eher bitter als würzig, und die Zwiebeln haben leider auch nicht geholfen. Der Zaziki? Eher eine süße Überraschung, die uns an ein Convenience-Produkt erinnert hat.

Das Dönerfleisch war geschmacklich okay, aber etwas zäh – als hätte es schon einen langen Tag hinter sich. Die Pommes waren ungewollt dabei, der frische Salat hingegen war ein positiver Ausgleich. Mein Ayran war sehr lecker, die Cola meiner Begleitung hat natürlich auch ihren Job gemacht.

Preis-Leistung? Passt. Service? Eher auf Sparflamme – nicht unfreundlich, aber definitiv ausbaufähig, wenn man mal Durst oder andere Wünsche hat.

Fazit: Wir waren nicht völlig überzeugt, aber auch nicht abgeschreckt. Sollten wir irgendwann mal in Konstanz wohnen, würden wir wahrscheinlich noch mal reinschauen – wenn nicht wegen der Hauptgerichte, dann...

The personal is very polite. They really serve nicely and care with the guests.

It was sunny outside and they brought a sun umbrella immediately. We even no needed to ask for it!

The prices are quite reasonable.

The taste of Lahmacun is almost like in Turkey and I suggest it.

Kebab is also nice and i can also recommend it.
