The good thing is this restaurant is open longer unlike some others which are closed after lunch hour. The place is not operated by Japanese, the chef is not Japanese either. The misspelling of the food names should send the alert! But I wanted to give it a try and ordered their business lunch. The food is okay, nothing special. My girls were asking for ice matcha but they could not prepare it, the server gave instead cold water with a green tea bag (anyone who drinks tea know it takes hours to steep tea bag in a cold water and we don’t have such time in a restaurant). The manager was nice to come to our table and asked if everything was okay and after took the feedback he mentioned that they’re new...
Read moreWe made the mistake of ordering the Ramen here recently (spelled Rhamen on the menu) It made us wonder if the cook ever tried this dish in a japanese restaurant - or anywhere really - it was just absolutely awful. The sushi we had were mostly maki rolls with lots of rice and not much fish. Just okay. The Gyoza was full of dough and not much else and the 3 chicken skewers were minuscule and totally overpriced, but at least came with good Teriyaki sauce.

Friendly service though, and music to make you fall asleep,...

The outside-in rolls were delicious, and the gyoza were excellent — crispy and flavorful. The fried sushi, however, was a bit disappointing — it had a mushy flavor and wasn’t what we expected, so we wouldn’t recommend those. The nigiri could also be better balanced, as there was too much rice for the small slices of fish. Prices are a little high for what you get, but overall it’s a good spot for sushi in Konstanz, especially if you stick to the fresh...
