Big disappointment and nos spanish at all. If any, some Canary Island similarities with a little Spanish influence

The stains on the tablecloth have already made me skeptical. Just wanted to try a beer and a few tapas. At 17:15 on Saturday almost no guests on the terrace. But I had to ask the boss if already opened, since no service visible. Biers came quickly, a bit pricey for Germany. Slowly the other tables filled up. We waited already 20 minutes for 2 of the 3 tapas (olives where quick to be served...) Suddenly the boss stood in front of the guests with blackboard and explained the dishes. When she came to us I said that we had already ordered more than 20 minutes ago. After 20 more minutes, the other guests were already being served. We were still waiting. 40 minutes after our order I asked the waiter for our missing tapas. We should wait for another 10 minutes, he answered. After almost 1 hour waiting for a few pimientos and 1 chorizo dish, it was too much for me. I asked for the bill and no longer wanted the tapas. 2 minutes later the waiter was there with my bill and the pimientos included in the bill ! I asked if he did not understand before, refused to take de pimientos, paid only the drinks and left. Conclusion: dirty tablecloth, 1 hour wait, no apology, no explanation for the delay, not even a couple of olives or peanuts while we waited for 1 an hour for 2 really easy tapas.By the way, extra bread is charged here, very unusual for Germany, but typical in Spain. I am Spanish myself. This place is for tourists or people that know very little about Spanish...

Must have reservations and you'll want to make them well in advance. This place is incredible! We were a large party of 12 and we received excellent service. The wine kept flowing and the food kept coming! The wine was delicious and every dish was excellent! My favorites we're the grilled octopus and sardines, but seriously, every dish was amazing.

Do note that it was January when I visited and while it was cold outside, the inside of this place is hot! Dress lightly. Also plan on hanging your coat in the coat room (removing your valuables) because you will not have room for it at the table. It's very small inside, but it works well and I would absolutely recommend going here.

If you can't make reservations well in advance, you might try calling about the bar seating. It looked like they had a small bar with maybe 4-6...

Leider enttäuschender Besuch - wurden trotz fast leerer Gaststube zunächst an ein kleines Tischen beim Toilettenzugang plaziert - nach Bitte war Umsetzen auf anderen Tisch aber möglich. Meine Tochter wollte die Tapasbar schon seit 2 Jahren ausprobieren - als Studentin aufgrund der doch etwas hohen Preise nicht so leicht. So haben wir uns quer durch die Speisekarte bestellt und auch zwei Tagesempfehlungen probiert. Getränkebestellung war schnell - guter Hauswein! Dann wurden zunächst zwei kleine Teller vorgesetzt - ein Teller leider abgeschlagen. Nicht schlimm, aber sollte nicht sein. Tagesempfehlung Brötchen mit Tomate und Manchegokäse - war nur ein aufgeschnittenes Aufbackbrötchen mit Tomatenscheiben und geriebener Käse. Gut, aber nichts besonderes. Überhaupt das Brot! Ich möchte in einem Restaurant keine billigen Aufbackbrötchen als Beilage serviert bekommen, noch dazu im Ganzen einfach auf einem Teller auf den Tisch gestellt. Frisches Brot sollte bei den Preisen eigentlich drin sein! Bacalhaukroketten, Teigtaschen, Krabbenschere war definitiv fritierte Tiefkühlware und stehen dann in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis. Gegrillte Sardine sehr gut, auch das geschmorte Rindfleich war ausgezeichnet. Gegrillte Chourizo auch sehr gut, frisch am Platz wurde der Alkohol angezündet - ein Augenschmaus. Die Kartoffeln waren ganz gut, allerdings waren die Saucen und Aoilio unseres Erachtens nicht selbst gemacht sondern Fertigware. Der gefüllte Tintenfisch war wieder gut, aber die Krönung waren zum Schluss die Garnelen. Leider serviert ohne eine kleine Brotscheibe lagen diese in einem See aus Knoblauchöl - soweit, so gut. Allerdings handelte es sich beim dem Öl definitiv nicht um Olivenöl; das Öl schmeckte nach altem Fritierfett, so dass man nur versucht hat, soweinig wie möglich davon auf der Garnele zu lassen. Normalerweise würde ich darin noch Brot tunken, so war ich nur froh, dass kein "Brot" dafür da war. Alles in allem haben wir dann 65 Euro für zwei Personen gezahlt, waren satt aber leider auch unzufrieden. Aufgrund der vielen guten Rezensionen hatten wir weit mehr erwartet und müssen daher leider sagen - einmal aber nicht mehr wieder. Sehr schade denn das Lokal hat wirklich Charme! Aber Preis und Leistung stimmen...
