Fred is a great cafe in Würzburg if you are looking for healthy & vegetarian friendly places to eat around the city. They are located along Herzogenstraße and are open from 8am to 7pm (Thurs - Sat, Mon & Tues), 9am to 7pm (Sundays), closed on Wednesdays. There is a fair sized indoor seating area and outdoor tables as well.

We had an early lunch here during our recent stay in Würzburg. Everything served was fresh, nicely prepared and tasted delicious. We enjoyed the Hummus, dried tomatoes and arugula on rye bread. Even better was the Beetroot, goat cheese, arugula & walnut salad. Prices were reasonable, portion sizes just fine. Service was friendly and timely. Just a great all around healthy lunch. One we'd be keen to repeat next time...
