Pomodoro — Restaurant in Weimar

Food was disgusting. Took forever. Server was even worse and extremely rude. Didn’t have three main ingredients that the menu said the dish would have. Save yourself from wasting money and sever indigestion and don’t go. I ordered the gnocchi and three quarters of it was cheap cheese and it didn’t include crab, shrimp or Gorgonzola cheese like the menu said it would. Politely asked the waiter about it and he simply disregarded what I said and didn’t seem to care....

Pomodoro is a nice Italian restaurant located in the heart of Weimar. Sitting outside watching the plaza is a great experience. I started with the Caprese Bruschetta which was tasty, I wish there was more mozzarella on it however. For the entree I had the Pennete Rigate Corte d Assisi which was very good. Wir waren heute zum Mittagessen. Es war nicht sehr voll trotzdem warteten wir 20 min. auf einen Kellner der erstmal die Getränkebestellung aufnahm 1 Cola, 1 Apfelschorle und 1 Zitronenlimo. Nach 5 min. kam ein 2. Kellner und fragte nach Getränken, als wir ihm sagten wir haben bestellt sagte er : noch mal der Kollege versteht nicht. Wir wollten gleich das Essen mitbestellen ging nicht erstmal Getränke... Wir durften dann endlich unseren 2 Pizzen bestellen hatten noch ein Kleinkind mit. Uns wurde kein extra Teller fürs Kind angeboten aber nach Aufforderung gebracht. Wegen einer kleinen Gabel mussten wir dann auch nochmal fragen. Pizza war gut. Zur Bezahlung erschien dann ein älterer Herr in Sweatshirt und kassierte ohne uns eine Rechnung zu geben. Als wir dann im Kopf nachgerechnet haben empfanden wir 45 Euro etwas zu viel. Wir verlangten dann eine Rechnung und es wurde uns 10 Euro zuviel abkassiert. Es gab noch nicht mal eine Entschuldigung. Also die 2 Sterne sind nur für das Essen. Service gibt es keinen.
