We visited the fine restaurant for the first time and were really impressed by its surprisingly good performance. The entity is small but the seating arrangement is comfortable and the atmosphere was relaxing and good. We felt welcomed and were provided with top class table services - well attended with smiles and courtesy without being pushed or ignored. The meals and drinks were also surprisingly good. We could feel the attention made in the choice of good-quality ingredients and how they were prepared and presented, starting from the complimentary bread and spread, the fine choices of alcohol- and non-alcohol drinks, the meals (the tastes, textures, fragrance and presentation) and even the tableware. I loved that the meals were very well-prepared and authentic - not over-processed, and they did not have the taste of artificial glutamate. For example the starter truffle fries: the truffle was freshly grated in handsome amount on the fries and every bite was very fragrant. I also liked that the portion of the food and drink was adequate, which allowed us to enjoy and finish a full course of meal (each of us finished a half bottle of water, a glass of champagne, a glass of wine, complimentary breads with spreads, half portion of truffle fries, a main course, a couese of dessert and a cup of coffee including complimentary sweet!) without leaving food waste or drink waste and still had a comfortable stomach when we left.

Ich bin jetzt zum dritten Mal in Weinheim auf Dienstreise. Also suchte ich mir ein Restaurant über die Bewertungen bei dem ich einkehren wollte. Ich begab mich in die Altstadt und fand in diesem Restaurant keinen Platz und in vielen anderen auch nicht. Lediglich im „SO“ wurde ein Tisch frei, an dem ich mich platzierte. Was für ein Wahnsinns Glücksfall - vor allem das alle anderen voll waren. Ich will keinem zu Nahe treten, aber ich glaube nicht, dass die Mitbewerber diesem Haus das Wasser reichen können. Aufmerksame freundlichen Bedienung, ohne aufgesetzt und aufdringlich zu wirken. Sehr erfrischend. Ich wählte als erstes das Carpaccio vom RiFi welches sowohl geschmacklich als auch in der Präsentation absolute Oberklasse darstellt. Den sehr fein abgestimmten Ruccola in einem Brotring anzurichten habe ich so noch nie gesehen. Die darauffolgenden Jacobsmuscheln kann ich gar nicht beschreiben, hier fehlen mir die echt die Worte. Eine Wahnsinnskombination von unterschiedlichen Texturen mit handwerklich perfekt gebratenen Jacobsmuscheln - traumhaft. Das das Dessert (eiskaltes Joghurtsüppchen) den anderen Gerichten in kleinster Weise hinterherhinkt bedarf eigentlich keiner Erwähnung mehr. Die Preise erscheinen augenscheinlich hoch, sind aber mehr als angemessen und der extrem guten Qualität der Produkte geschuldet. Wenn ich also weiter unten in den Bewertungen die ein oder andere (völlig unberechtigte) Beschwerde über die „hohen Preise“ lese hält sich mein Verständnis für solche Rezensenten in Grenzen. Zumal in den Karten Preise ausgewiesen sind, wem das dann zu teuer ist, muss wenigsten die Eier in der Hose haben aufzustehen und zu gehen, vorzugsweise nach McDonalds oder so, anstatt hier ungerechtfertigte Bewertungen vom Leder zu ziehen.
