Ich bin mit meiner Familie wegen der Arbeit nach Wiesbaden gekommen und beschloss, das Restaurant namens "Hans im Glück" zu besuchen. Wir kamen gegen 17:00 Uhr an und nahmen Platz. Nach einer 10-minütigen Wartezeit ging ich auf die Suche nach der Speisekarte und fand sie erfolgreich. Nach weiteren 20 Minuten wartete ich auf den Kellner, der unseren Auftrag "erfolgreich" aufnahm und Getränke brachte. Nach einer Stunde Wartezeit fragte ich nach dem Hauptgericht und erhielt die Antwort, dass es in 10-15 Minuten fertig sein würde. Nach weiteren 20 Minuten wachte mein Kind auf und bat um Essen. Ich ging erneut zum Kellner, um ein Getränk für mein Kind zu bestellen und den Status der Bestellung zu erfahren, erhielt jedoch die Antwort: "Entschuldigung, Sie werden mindestens eine weitere Stunde warten müssen, ich kann nicht erklären, warum." Ich fragte, warum die Gruppe von 8 Personen, die eine halbe Stunde nach uns ankam, bereits ihre Bestellung erhalten hatte, und mir wurde ein Restaurant um die Ecke empfohlen, das eine gute Küche, einen Chefkoch und einen guten Service hat. Die Kellnerin empfahl mir auch, eine schlechte Bewertung zu hinterlassen, möglicherweise wird dies Ihre zukünftige Arbeit beeinflussen.
I came to Wiesbaden with my family for work and decided to visit a restaurant called Hans im Glück. We arrived around 5:00 pm and took a table. After a 10-minute wait, I went in search of the menu and successfully found it. After another 20 minutes, I waited for the waiter, who "successfully" took our order and brought drinks. After an hour of waiting, I asked when the main course would be served and was told it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. After another 20 minutes, my child woke up and asked to eat. I approached the waiter again to order a drink for my child and inquire about the status of our order, but was told, "I'm sorry, you will have to wait for at least another hour, I cannot explain why." I asked why the group of eight people who arrived half an hour after us had already received their order, and was recommended a restaurant around the corner with good food, chef, and service. The waitress also advised me to leave a bad review, perhaps it will affect your job in the future.

I was so excited for their food, and I drove to the gate when I saw it was on its way to wait to pick it up. Over 30 minutes passes. The driver calls me, saying he couldn't figure out how to my street. I tried explaining in my broken German, since he said he didn't speak any English, and was promptly hung up on mid conversation. I didn't speak German very well and he couldn't speak any English, but the fact that he hung up on me was terribly rude. I ended up having the nice Pond Patrol ladies (who speak German) try to call him back, and he preceded to hang up over five times. The Pond Patrol ladies then called the restaurant and got them to send another driver out - who took an additional 20 minutes to find the gate - but stopped 1/8 a mile short of it despite directions given by the Pond Patrol. The waiter acted as if customers should already know the menu by heart. When I hesitated over choosing a bun, his reaction made me feel like I was stupid. Maybe I am—if I ever go back.
