Scheffelstuben - Ristorante Italiano — Restaurant in Wiesbaden

This restaurant is now my favorite place in Wiesbaden! The food is delicious and there is quite a selection. We opted for pasta and had tiramisu for dessert and it was delectable.

Before our meal, we were treated to a complimentary tray of toasted bread with different toppings that were all tasty. Not many places in Wiesbaden give you complimentary anything, so this was a real treat.

The venue is not only comfortable but the decor is lovely, I especially love the flower room which offers comfortable couches to enjoy a cocktail or two.

They also have an adorable photo op that is heavenly!

The best thing about this place, was the absolutely phenomenal customer service! Everyone on staff was so kind and expressed their gratefulness for our patronage. They were very attentive and made our evening enjoyable.

I ordered the cheese ravioli which was okay, but not something I would tell my friends about. The red sauce was really salty. The atmosphere was pretty good considering I ate outside, but I asked them to light the Tiki torches because of the insects and although they complied the torches went out about 5 minutes later because the oil ran out. Ich fand das Essen ausgezeichnet. Pangasiusfilet und Panna Cotta als Dessert. Die Räumlichkeiten könnten sehr gemütlich sein, wenn nicht überall grauenhaft blendend grelle Glühbirnen viel zu tief von den Decken hängen würden. Ich hätte die Beleuchtung außerhalb des Sichtfeldes oben unter die Decke gehängt (Decke ist hoch genug) oder passiv gestaltet. Ich bin nicht zum Buchlesen da, sondern zum Essen und brauche keine 1000 Lux vor meinem Gesicht.

Ich gebe nur 4 Sterne, da die 5-Sterne-Bewertungen gelöscht werden, sobald Google Wind davon bekommt, dass das Restaurant einen kostenfreien Drink für ein 5-Sterne-Review ausgibt. Das hat diese Location nicht nötig und ich finde es auch eine schmutzige Strategie.

PS.: Der QR-Code auf den Tischen, der zur Karte führen soll, hat bei keinem von mehreren verschiedenen Smartphone-Modellen funktioniert. Außerdem gibt es kaum mobile Netzverbindung. Ein offenes WLAN wäre hier angebracht. Glücklicherweise gab es die Karten auch noch analog.
