Bangkok Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Accra

Yet again, I am disappointed by the quality and consistency of food in Accra. The first two times I ate there the food was good. I ordered the beef red curry, the beef spring rolls and the Thai red ice tea. Both times the food was fresh and well spiced.

On the third visit, I ordered the exact same thing (I am a creature of habit 😂) and it was awful. They served me spoiled food! The beef was rotten and had this strange gray strip on it. I doubt that is was beef...I've never seen beef look like that.

The green peas were hard and brown. You could see all the spoiled parts of the peas. The beef rolls were soggy. Ugg!

It was absolutely disgusting. I sent all the food back and paid for my Thai iced tea....

Terrible service and food. I ordered for delivery. Eventually it took 8 calls form start to finish. The ordering process was cumbersome at best. I had to call, then send a WhatsApp with my order. Then they couldn’t figure my address despite me texting it and sending a google maps pin. And the order was still wrong… ordered everything mild for kids, none were mild. Ordered green curry, got red, which was super oily. And the authenticity was nonexistent. Larb (with gross CHEWY chicken fat, I think) with no sticky rice ?!? And the worst was not serving rice with the meal, or at least telling me it didn’t come with it. It’s Thai food. It comes with rice....

We love Bangkok Thai, the food is faultless and delicious. Always a smile when we walk in, even with lights off!!! Don't know of other restaurants who will give my son the ingredients and instructions on how to make Tom Yum or help a friend who suddenly fell very sick just before the food was due to be served. Swapped the plates for a take away that we sent after her with a delivery driver. We've had one delivery and that couldn't be faulted either. Nothing but the best service!!! Please...
