Spent the afternoon there yesterday with a friend and left a little disappointed. In my opinion, the best thing about this place is the aesthetics. The bar area is beautiful and the general decor is very tasteful and classy. The presentation of the food is also pleasing to the eye.
We ordered the Raspberry Cruise, which was sweet just like I wanted, and The Wild cocktail, which had more ginger than she expected. Our Crunchy Calamari starter tasted okay but arrived before our drinks, which was a little odd since we ordered drinks first. We also got the Creamy Seafood Pasta, which had an overwhelmingly strong fishy smell, as well as the T-bone Steak, which was very dry and tough to cut through, with a side of mashed potatoes which we specifically asked for it to be extra creamy but tasted like it didn't have any cream in it at all. For dessert, we got a very forgettable strawberry-flavoured Cheesecake.
The service was slow, despite being only half-full (even with a birthday party group present) and some of the staff looked like they'd rather be somewhere else. The food was frankly subpar for the price we paid. The best part of our time there was when a waiter offered to take our pictures for us in their pretty backdrops as we were preparing to leave.
If I visit again, it'll probably be as a second location for drinks and a chat in a chic ambience after eating...
Read moreI wasn't really moved to try this place out from the onset because of all the hype and I personally hadn't heard good reviews as well. But I finally decided to try it for myself when I saw a picture of their steak dish. Reservations are required to begin with. The staff were really nice, switched seats twice which wasn't an issue at all, they'd come around to ask how the food was and say thank you, you know that kinda stuff. Pork chops as a starter were good, nothing extra but enjoyable. I loved my t-bone steak, had it medium rare with all the juices my only complaint would be the side of French fries being a very small portion, I was done with that after a few dips. Love the decor, the outside seating has a lot of cold breeze because of it being a rooftop terrace. Didn't get to enjoy that however because it's also a smoking area. But indoor was equally satisfying. There's an open kitchen too, what I mean is you can actually see the chefs doing their thing there which is a great side attraction I'd say. To touch on affordability Indulge is not cheap that's all I'll say. But overall not a bad experience. It gives the feel of a place more for drinks and chitchatting than having a full meal. Options on the menu for food weren't many as well. I might go...
Read moreFood tasted microwaved. Expensive but terrible. Waited for more than 1 hour for our food though we were told it would take like 25min or something. Nobody else was at the restaurant but us, not sure why it took so long. I don’t usually like giving bad reviews but we spent almost 2,000ghc that day.
The food came cold. I did not enjoy the food. I do not recommend this restaurant… if they don’t change or train their staffs, this restaurant is likely to go down hill for sho.
The place was also difficult to find. The staffs did not care about any of our complaints which is typical in most restaurants anyways. It is like they were doing us all a favour. I hated this place. I wish I could get my hard earned money back.
Also the menu was printed on paper meanwhile this is suppose to be some expensive restaurant lol.
Owner I hope you really consider my review and give me a call. I would really like to continue sharing my constructive criticism of the food, the service, the staff and the...
