I just can’t recommend this place highly enough. It’s simply the best Japanese restaurant! As a Korean who really loves Japanese foods, this is exactly what I’ve been wanting and missing while living abroad. I’ve tried Japanese restaurant so many times in foreign countries, but this place is just on another level. I’m sure it’s fully comparable to any restaurant in Japan.

I’ve literally visited this place 5 times in 15 days because this place and the foods always make me feel comfortable and relieved. Sometimes, the busy streets of Accra can be stressful and make me want some tranquility. Or sometimes, new food or water makes me unwell. Then I visited here. I enjoyed the calm environment and had the soothing food for my stomach (especially I had Tenshinhan for my stomach)

So far, I’ve had curry, tenshinhan, croquette, katsudon, chicken nanban. I loved every single dish. I’ll def keep coming back to try more dishes until I leave Ghana.

Plus, they also have private rooms that are perfect for group gatherings. If you’re looking to have lunch or dinner with a business partner or for any similar occasion, this place is ideal.

Lastly, shoutout to Mr. and Mrs. Kishi! Their warm hospitality has always touched me, and it means a lot to me, especially because I’m staying alone...

I’m Japanese, and when I visited Accra, I had dinner at Kishitei.

Every dish was absolutely delicious—authentic Japanese cuisine at its finest. The exterior, interior, and overall atmosphere were all exceptional, truly reflecting Japanese culture. On top of that, the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Kishi, were incredibly kind, making me feel as if I were back in Japan, despite being in the heart of Africa. And I was truly amazed that even the Ghanaian staff were as polite and hospitable as if they were Japanese.

I’ve been to several Japanese restaurants abroad, but this is the first time I’ve experienced one that excels in every aspect—taste, quality, service, and ambiance. As a Japanese person, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to everyone. I was so impressed that I forgot to take any photos, so I highly recommend visiting and seeing it for yourself!!

If you visit Ghana—or even Africa—it’s definitely worth stopping by!!

I’ll be...

I had an incredible experience at this chicken ramen restaurant! The broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned—comforting without being too heavy. The chicken was tender and juicy, cooked to perfection, and paired beautifully with the springy noodles that had just the right bite.

What really stood out was the attention to detail: fresh toppings, vibrant presentation, and portions that left me satisfied but not overly full. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food, which made the atmosphere feel welcoming and authentic.

Whether you’re a ramen lover or trying it for the first time, this spot is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be...

I was really looking forward to eating here but sadly it didn’t live up to my expectation. Firstly couldn’t seat at the bar b/c it was reserved although the restaurant was empty. The cook/owner were chatting and laughing away with no bother to see how things going. The most disappoint thing of all was the Raman. I had the chicken chintan soy sauce ramen which which little had two basic slices of chicken, lots of shallots and onions. The saddest and overpriced ramen I’ve and I had to pay for the eggs. Love all the international cuisines coming to in Ghana but they can’t come and make subpar food and expect folks to just accept it.
