The Woods — Restaurant in Accra

I went specifically to the Woods to experience their 🗣TACO TUESDAY. Ironically I am not a fan of tacos but wanted to give theirs a try and to also see what else the establishment had to offer. The space is very calm,open and inviting. There’s a pool (although we didn’t come for that) which was a nice addition to the space. I got a taco platter, beef, chicken and fish. My favourite was the fish which was seasoned well and delicious. My least fave was the beef which was a little chewy and gummy. I wish they would add more toppings to the taco as it seemed a little light with just the salsa and lettuce. Also my drink was delicious! Tucked away like a little treasure trove. Ambience lovely, with decor meant to promote a "chilled" vibe. Unfortunately didn't have my first two choices selected from the cocktail menu. Waiter staff not overly attentive and could do with some direction regarding friendliness. We were there with a large group on a Friday evening. The purpose of the evening was to network and chat ..... It was impossible. The music was so loud that it actually hurt my eardrums. Staff were of absolutely no assistance when asked to please turn the music down a bit. The answer was simply - "It's not possible, it's a Friday night". When asked to speak to the manager, we never saw the waitress again, nor the manager. We will probably try it again on a different night,...

Food was and refried and wack for what was paid. They told us they close at 4am , by 30mins after ordering food at 1am they brought our bill without informing us they were closing . Someone was sweeping whilst we were eating and they were closing which was very unhealthy . Very poor customer service . The place is dead right now and I’ll advise against going there.
