This restaurant café is an oasis of pleasure as the entire place is successfully designed to impress and draw you in. This was my first impression when I entered the restaurant for the first time. I was tempted to immediately stop by their exquisite bar upon entering albeit I proceeded to the rooftop which left nothing to the imagination as it spoke of good taste and finesse.
The waiters and waitresses aim to please as they take directions very well and hence I was very pleased with their services. They are nicely dressed in blue which is one of my favorite colors. Never leave without a big tip for them (recommended).
Meanwhile, it is important to note that, this restaurant café is not a cheap eat as mere fried eggs and veggies alone can set you back as much as 21 Gh cedis but it's totally worth it. The food and drink menu appears to be very large. It is also good to know that the food is served in large portions which is pretty awesome.
You are offered the opportunity to either pay in cash or by debit or credit card.
It is good to also know that the bathroom is clean even though the lock behind the male restroom was broken.
The parking lot tend to be crammed and the poor directions of the purported security guard(s) doesn't help much hence don't follow him blindly as you may end up scratching someone's car as a result. The guards at the parking lot could definitely benefit from some training.
Moving on, we met at the rooftop of the restaurant as a group where we were successfully attended to with incredible speed and precision. The food was nicely decorated and served hot. I would definitely recommend this restaurant café to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent services and tasty food in a fabulous location. I intend to keep going back, Much thanks to you, Moka's...
Read moreTerrible Experience What a pleasant evening to be on the roof top. However, after we ordered appetizers with Junior, (who was amazing by the way) that’s when it ALL went down hill. I decided to have the mixed grill platter, but instead of the fries or rice options, I wanted to substitute for extra veggies or a tiny hummus side. Junior said he would have to ask his manager Mr. Hassan Terki if the substitution was possible. Terki came over and stated that nothing could be done and absolutely no substitutions could be made. We went back and forth for a couple of minutes and I even said that they could give me a little bit more parsley salad which according to the menu came with the meal. He rebuffed yet another request and walked away after being very rude, coarse and impolite throughout our brief conversation. Shortly after a waitress brought our appetizer which came with no plates or silverware. We asked her for such and she ended up bringing plates. Still no silverware. When asked why she said that we are supposed to eat our appetizer platter with our hands. My dinner companion and I looked at each other extremely puzzled. We then asked her to give us her managers name and she refused. She also REFUSED to give us her name. My companion and I were in complete shock. Found out later her name is Vivian. The worst service, experience and care by a manager ever. He was rude and flippant. Thank goodness for our server who put us at ease. I have also attached a photo of my platter with the parsley salad that Terki insisted came with my meal. I wish I could give this establishment 0 stars because the manager made 0 attempts to make...
Read moreBeautiful set up, we dined upstairs, an open balcony. Lebanese owned, a good Amt of em come here, Smoking allowed, shisha available. A good menu with a variety of choices. Comfortable sitting. The place is clean, bathroom is clean although it’s limited, if someone in there, you gotta wait. We didn’t have to wait long for our orders, and I’m glad! I had the lamb and fries. It was an ok meal, I’ve had better ones for a lesser price. Plenty of staff, but terrible communication, I mean confusion up and down, and you can visibly see it, lol , a lot of staff were confused as to where food/drinks were going(what table) I mean just number the table and cut the confusion. 3 times our orders were lurking around because the waitress/waiter wasn’t sure where to take it AND we played a game of watching them with our order and how long it would take them to figure it out. (It was a bit funny) I walked in with a hot chocolate, about 25min in the manager came to let us know “that’s not allowed” fair enough, but maybe lmk when I’m walking through the door with it? Instead of waiting for me to be seated and enjoying my Choco and come lmk 25min later? Or have an outside sign? (No outside beverages allowed?) They offered to put it in the fridge for me lol like c’mon now 🙄 Other than that, I had an ok time, would I come back? Probably not unless I’m invited...
