Wow, I was so very surprised to see a beautiful gourmet cupcake shop in Ghana Africa. I had to try it because I love sweets so much. I went inside and was overwhelmed by the sheer amount and variety of cupcakes they offered, they had so many different flavors, and other desserts to like brownies, brookies, ice cream shake, cakes, and more, they even had meat pies. I tried three cupcakes and two shakes and they were all delicious. They all had the perfect level of sweetness and flavor to them. There were also a lot of really unique flavors here that I had never seen or tried before anywhere in the world. The quality of the cakes and baked goods here was on par with anything you would find in America or Europe, at a fraction of the price.I left here incredibly impressed and will definitely return, the staff was also very friendly and the seating environment was charming, cozy, and well lit. What a great spot hopefully more people...

The worst. I took the time to pre-order and pre-paid 12 cupcakes and 1 birthday cake. I spent 30 minutes with them to go through the order and confirm pick-up time twice. The following day, they called me 30 minutes prior the agreed time confirming that my order was ready. I arrived on time only to discover that they were still "cutting the name on the cake" according to their rude and unprofessional manager. They didn't check my receipt either and gave half of the order to my driver (cupcakes in plastic cups instead of the cardboard individuals boxes with holder as requested). As a result, all cupcakes were ruined... When I made the reflection to the "manager" she gave me the worst attitude possible with the worst excuse "they're almost done, just cutting the name". Overall, it was just a waste of my time and money. They're unprofessional and careless. Be aware!

We arrived 20 minutes late at the birthday...

the Cupcake Boutique is a restaurant situated in the heart of Labone, a suburb of Accra close to Osu. It is the favorite hangout place for people living in the estates and offices close by. As you enter the place you are welcomed by a simple setting of sofas and tables accompanied with umbrellas to shield you from the sun in the mornings and afternoons. Sitting at any table you have a good view of the counter and whatever that happens there. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth watering pastries, milkshakes and drinks. I had the chocolate and red velvet cupcake with the chocolate milkshake. All the products were fresh and you could taste the homeliness and heart that was out into preparing everything. It took a while before my order came through but after tasting the cupcakes I knew it was worth the wait. I had a pleasant experience. For this I highly recommend going to the...

I got to the boutique at 5:00pm on a Saturday and there were 3 cupcakes left, a tray of brownies and few donuts. This was my first time so I thought that if they are almost sold out on cupcakes, it means the cupcakes are really good. So I ordered a marble cupcake, with a hibiscus-ginger lemonade to stay. The cupcake was moist but very underwhelming in taste and so was the icing as if cheap ingredients had been used. Also, I did not like that the cupcake was served in a plastic container even though I was eating in. It is just not a convenient way to eat a cupcake. Small plates are more appropriate and environment friendly. I was also not a fan of the lemonade. It was way too sweet, I could not taste the hibiscus and was not expecting it to be sparkly. The ladies serving were welcoming, but very loud when talking to each other.

Counted about twelve varieties of cupcakes, along with some others pastries. There quite a few hot drinks and cold drinks to accompany your delicious baked good, and the cupcakes are very good (i.e. soft and flavourful, not dry, and icing is just the right amount of sweet). There little space indoors for seating (just about 5 or 6 people), but ample plush outdoor sitting if you don't mind the roadside sights and sounds, or waiting a bit for staff to clean of the dusty surfaces. It seems pretty empty on a weekday with people mostly picking up orders, curious to see what it's like on a weekend.
