On April 6 around 7.30 pm, I attended the restaurant with a female friend. We were the two women, sitting in the corner near the counter. I ordered a dish that arrived with cashew nuts which I'm highly allergic to and could potentially put me in the hospital If not attended to on time. I Informed the waitress who replied arrogantly by saying it was written on the menu, I told her it was not written there, I checked and I was right nothing in the description included cashew nuts. When I told her this she became annoyed by me and told me the people coming here know that cashews are In the dishes. She was so dismissive. The problem with that is it was our first time, so how could we know, And let's just say I should have double-checked, but the waitress's attitude was so rude and insensitive it really ruined part of our experience! Ghana your economy is doing terribly be grateful for people who come and spend their money on your restaurant businesses! I understand that working in the hospitality industry can be draining especially if you are being underpaid. But no customer deserves to be blamed for receiving a key ingredient in their dish that was not written on the menu. A simple no problem we will change it would have been better! Read moreThe food at Pantita is middling, but my kids like the chicken teriyaki (which oddly is only available sporadically) and pad Thai. However, I will not be going there again because the customer service is poor. Staff are unfriendly and rude.
About 3 months ago, we got chicken teriyaki and it was much sweeter than normal and did not taste good. We had gotten 4 servings - and I returned 2 of them telling them that the sauce was too sweet. They gave me the money back. However, when I called to order the next time, and every time since, the number did not work. I asked the young woman at the counter, and she said, It must be the network.”
So we continued to order - using another phone once every couple of weeks. Tonight when we went to pick up our order, I asked an Asian lady if she was the manager and explained the phone problem. The young woman then admitted that she blocked my number. Even then the Asian woman said, “It must be the network.” I asked the young woman to unblock it, explaining that we are regular customers- which she knows because she is there each time we go. She refused.
