We dined here for my mum’s birthday. We chose this restaurant because we wanted a fancy option for mum. We loved the incorporation of art in the space itself. Art on the ceiling and all. However, their play list did not match the luxury they ooze. At some point I thought I was sitting at some lounge/pub. We expected classical music, jazz but not loud ghetto music. Our waiter who was friendly towards us wasn’t attentive enough. He missed details on our orders. For starters we had the Provençal snails, the Saint ring (calamari), and the fruit de mer salad. The snail was nice. I loved the incorporation of pickled shallots. The salad was decent. However, for a fruit de mer salad ( French for seafood salad), I expected a lot more sea protein option on the salad plate. We ordered the grilled chicken and jollof, the 4K Gold tomahawk steak (a rip-off in my opinion), we ordered the lamb shank, as well as the oxtail, mashed potatoes, fried yam and French fries. The grilled chicken wasn’t well seasoned. The jollof rice tasted bland. The tomahawk’s temperature was uneven, yet we requested a medium cooked temperature. The lamb shank was soft and nice, fell off the bone, same for the oxtail but I believe they can do better with their seasoning. All sauces served were decent. My favorite was the chimichurri sauce which paired well with the tomahawk. Yam chip wasn’t crispy. However, the French fries was on point. We saw the manager in flats and she didn’t bother checking in on the table to ask if everyone was okay and enjoying themselves. We ordered all four options on the dessert menu. The sticky toffee pudding, the crème brûlée, the chocolate lava cake and the cheese cake. The sugar level was on point for all four desserts. Not too sweet, just perfect. The staff serenaded mum with Latin music and a dance as they brought the dessert. A happy moment for the celebrant. Overall, pricey menu for the service and food they serve. Their plating game is weak.

I enjoyed my time at Saint Pablo , I went on a random Thursday is March so the restaurant was very quiet, in the three hours we were there only 4 groups of people came in. The staff was very attentive and polite , they informed us that the oxtail and lobster was out of stock that day which, I appreciated that they told us before we made our order. For starters we ordered the calamari and suya platter . The platter was 10/10 just wish it had more. The calamari was nice , I think the mayonnaise needs to more of a garlic aioli in my opinion . For mains we order the wagyu sandwich with truffle infused chips and the catch of the day (cassava fish) with yam chips . All very tasty , the catch of the day was huge so we were happy we got value for money and the sandwich was really a burger and it was enjoyable they just need to toast the buns at bit more as my own was a bit soggy. The fries were ordinary no truffle in sight . Unfortunately we were too full to get dessert but they did offer a hibiscus sorbet which was a nice touch and refreshing. For drinks I ordered a ginger ale and I was very happy it was the Fevertree brand so I knew it was good quality . The aesthetics was 10/10 very classy, modern and stylish. All in all I had a lovely experience

All was good until it I made payment and the lady supervisor claimed the payment didn’t go through . I received an alert immediately I paid and we had to call MTN to verify. She kept asking if there’s any other means for me to pay again so they can refund me later . I understand she’s doing her job but after showing her proof plus mtn call Center confirming the money has been deducted should be enough reason for her to take my contact just again she needs to follow up. Three days after the “brouhaha “ , I expected to hear from Crystal ; at least an update as to whether all’s well as far as their payment is concerned but no word. I contacted her out courtesy to find out if their account office has resolved the issue. After ruining my night because your POS was faulty, no one reached out to let me know all’s fine. I believe my phone would have been blown up if the payment for whatever reason had not gone through! Fix your POS machines or finds a more courteous way of resolving such ! I’m definitely not going back though the restaurant is beautiful.
