Sub Box — Restaurant in Accra

Very bad management....the waitress/ the servers behind the counter had her fingers all over her face and ears and then she didn't even bother to get them cleaned not realizing that she was being watched when I brought it up and asked the waitress to ask her to wash her hands as she is behind the counter where the food is being prepared and getting ready to be served...it pained her to be corrected and she wasn't even ready to get them washed ... leave alone apologize...very reluctantly did she clean her hands ...as if this wasn't enough when I mentioned it to the Phillipino lady manager the only thing she had to say is that she is sorry about it .... sorry... you need to keep a check and immediately see who was it and why was she even doing this where the food was ....instead she just went pass and started watching the match as the world cup games were screening.... this is...

Absolutely have to give this place 5 stars. We went this evening for dinner take-out. As soon as you walk in you can smell the shawarma. This is legitimate shawarma! The garlic sauce made me feel like I was back in the US at my favorite middle eastern restaurant.

They have yummy American style hot dogs, cheese fries, and slushies. Best thing is they have American desserts! Donuts, pastries and cupcakes and they are so good! Oh and hot chocolate the American way too. Can't forget that.

They also sell meat pies. My husband who is a Ghana native said it was great!

The bathroom was absolutely spotless as well. Great atmosphere on the patio, I just wish it was non smoking but I'm spoiled that way.

I've been visiting Ghana for a few weeks and really missed American food. This gave me my fix. I just wish I would've discovered it earlier.

The whole family gives this place...

A nice open space with a nice street view, not right next to it so it does not end up being noisy. Right in the heart of Cantonments and not far off from Labone and Osu, easily accessible and you sure would not miss it on your drive or walk by it's radiant yellow colours.

Meals are well made and the staff I must say were very pleasant throughout. The manager was on hand to take feedback and recommendations of the service and offerings.

In no doubt, they have the tag the Best Sub in Accra and there has been no uproar, the meals are indeed good and till when there is some competition they deserve to be referred to as so.

Do try out their house slushie, a nice mix of the flavours makes such a mouthful of wonders. Coffee should be great and you can have just that as you read or get in your business talks. I did feel good...
