THE CACTUS RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Accra

The new Cactus has shown a great use of space by moving its bar to the front now and creating a lovely looking restaurant at the back. Like it’s name it has loads of greenery and the presence of 🌵 all around, this falls well within its theme and ambiance.

They still have games at the bar for guests and the cocktails are well made, music was good and the staff smiled all through their service. The bar area is just to the entrance and has ample seating types for guests.

The little alley to the restaurant looks good with its lighting and little hopscotch floor work, do be cautious if in heels to not miss your step. Meals were well made and tasted great, I would have loved a little more serving portion with my mashed potatoes but it did taste amazing with my grilled chicken.

Menu is limited but the house was willing to make adjustments and have you state just how you wanted other dishes. Sure...

Delightful experience. I took some visiting colleagues to dinner, upon a friend's invitation. It was a Thursday night and we were the only guests. We had the open terrace to ourselves. It was a cool, night. The music and ambience was splendid. The food was great actually, and the waiting staff friendly and helpful. We had starters of peppered goat meat (extremely spicy), and a mixed bag of mains; steak, chicken, pasta, rice, even mashed potatoes. Good vibe. Best to visit on the weekend when it's apparently...

So i usually order from Jumia foods. Today i ordered Fush n Chips from the cactus bar, first of all the meal was delayed and then when it got here, the fish was nothing to talk home about..nothing like how original fishe n chips should be. The coating on the fish was non- existent and very soggy. The fish was tasteless and verry soggy chips. Very disappointed as this is the 2nd time i was ordering because the 1st one was really good. The bar should try n be consistent- this food is not...
