We waited in line for like 45 mins - which was ok, we expected that.
The food though is was way to salty - that salty that you could only took one bite and you needed one glass of water and don’t get me wrong, I eat saltier that average.
We ordered: Octopus - tender, I would recommend if they make it less saltier Shrimps saganaki - same Dip feta spicy - below average Fish salad - below average
The service was slow, and although I get it that people say it s a family business, a group of 4 people waited more than 1 hours to be seated, but their table was ready - people just needed to seat them and show them what’s their table. They asked 2 times but people working there seemed to be bothered.
We asked the waiter what’s happening with the food cause it’s to salty (I think it was the owner’s boy) he looked amazed at us and went there to taste the food. Needless to say he drank a whole glass of water and never came back to our table to say something.

Read moreWe came here 3 times, and only because we discovered it late in our stay, otherwise would have been here daily😊 the food amazing each time, the swordfish, the sea bass that you can choose yourself fresh, the Retsina wine, the home cooked fries with tzatziki, the spicy cheese, all the food amazing. Fast and tasty. The location is on a side street, so you avoid the main street agitation. The flowers, the lights all create a very nice atmosphere. It is busy around 7.30-8pm, but everytime we found a table. Regardless, it is worth the wait. Then there is the staff. No matter how busy, the staff is always smiling answering all the questions, making recommendations and constantly keeping an eye on your needs. It was a pleasure to find out more about the history of the restaurant, family owned, down from 3 generations. Thank you! 😍Definitely, we will come back...
Read moreAbsolutely stunning setting, which is what grabbed our attention. "Let's have a beer" we said. Wrong!! The snooty waitress informed us we could only stay for half an hour because we weren't eating. I pointed to all the empty tables, 2 of which I'd already seen were reserved. 3 others were occupied. I also pointed out the table in front where a couple were just having drinks and playing cards. I was told in clipped tones that they were waiting for food. And that the restaurant would be full in half an hour. Needless to say, we went elsewhere. If I could've been bothered, I'd have walked back half an hour later to see if was full! But I was busy enjoying a relaxing beer with friends in a more welcoming taverna on...
