Salerosso — Restaurant in Antiparos Municipality

It’s truly heartbreaking to see negative reviews for this warm and homey place called sale rosso. Do people not check the prices before sitting down? The portions are more than enough for an average person and if you need something extra then that’s on you. Salerosso gives you the choice to try so many unique plates, at least when you sit down at a restaurant do it properly. I’ve seen how they make the pasta, everything is handmade, with love every day. Imagine coming up with flavours like these as well. Chef Rossella Iopolo and the Kitchen staff have truly given their hearts to make every plate dreamy.

So before you come here with your nasty reviews here’s something that can help:

1. You pay for the effort as well. not just the ingredients. Do you not realise they work all morning to make fresh food, to serve it to you in the evening? try doing this yourself. NO other restaurants do not do this. Not one that i know. This is the freshest of the freshest quality that i ever tasted, and i’ve traveled to many countries myself.

2. Check prices before you sit to a restaurant. This doesn’t require much of a brain. You can also ask the waiter how big the portion is. They are honest sweet people, if it’s smaller than other dishes they will let you know because NOT all dishes are the same, they can’t be the same portion as each other.

3. Look at other peoples’ plates and see for yourself if you like the “small portions”. How can you even call them small? They are human sized, more than enough portions and i see people leave food because they are full.

i love salerosso, they deserve all the love and credit for everything they are doing. they bring a part of italy to greece and i want them to keep doing that, and wish them the biggest success, to every single staff in there,...

DO NOT ORDER PANCAKE, or anything similar. because it's totally unacceptable bad taste and not cheap at all for this quality.

The main problem is the service quality. Since one of their staff notice this we didn't eat it after first tasting, so she asked us is it good, then we told her the problem. She was kindly told us we could change something else if we want, then we changed to order a salad, so she took away the pancake that's so great IMO.

But after 1 mins after she told it to the boss(I think), her boss rejected everything and tell if we order something else, WE STILL NEED TO PAY FOR THE PANCAKE. Actually I don't care if I need to pay for things that I don't like, but don't tell me we can change at first, take away our foods and take it back to me. This is so rude to do...

It is so sad seeing any negative reviews on this amazing restaurant. I am truly amazed by how authentic the flavors, recipes, and techniques that they use for the dishes. The workers are all Italian and speak Italian. It was such a pleasant surprise when I randomly walked past the restaurant and decided to give it a try. The pasta carbonara and the truffle fillet were both so delicious. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the fillet medium rare just how I asked for it.
