A Complete Scam — Got Sick, Ripped Off, and Treated Like Dirt
This was, hands down, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any food establishment. I’m not being dramatic — I actually ended up in the hospital because of the sheer ignorance and arrogance of the staff here.
Let’s start with the basics. I ordered two croissants and two cappuccinos. Nothing fancy. When the bill came, it was €19. Nineteen. For breakfast. I thought it was a mistake — it wasn’t. That was the actual price. An absolute scam. But unfortunately, things got much worse.
I have a severe allergy to dark chocolate, so I’m always extremely cautious. One of their items was labeled as “praline.” I specifically asked the staff what that meant, just to be safe. Their response?
“Praline means dark chocolate. That’s how we use the word here.”
Seriously? No, it doesn’t. Praline in English means either a nut-based candy or a filled chocolate — but it never means plain dark chocolate. Their explanation was not only wrong, it was dangerously wrong.
Trusting them (huge mistake), I tasted it — and ended up having an allergic reaction. Within half an hour, I was in an ambulance headed to the ER. I spent hours under medical supervision due to their misinformation.
When I returned to inform them what happened, I was met with sarcasm, dismissiveness, and a level of stupidity that is hard to describe. They even repeated:
“Well, to us, praline means dark chocolate.”
This isn’t a language issue. It’s basic food safety and customer care.
In short: overpriced, dangerous, and staffed by people who should not be working with the public. Avoid at all costs.

Read moreThe place looks very cool and we were excited to have brunch there but had very bad experience.
It all started by them saying that we could not park where we parked. No problem - we moved the car. We sat at the table and the waiting started. After 10 min I asked the waiter for are menus. Yes, for 10 we could not get the menus to choose what to have, even though the waiter was passing by our table multiple times. I got off the chair chasing the waiter asking for menus when he said he will bring them. We continued waiting another 10 min when we run out of patience and decided to leave because we still dd not have the menus, while the waiter was putting tables away and taking orders from the tables around us. There were other people around obviously upset - some for waiting too long for their food, others for waiting to pay. If for 20 mins we could not get the menus, we could only image how long would it take to order and...
Read more2/2 stars for the good coffee and chill vibe. Opens at 8am so convenient morning coffee stop. Zero stars for the food and the prices and the sad decline of quality. Overpriced without quality delivery. €6.70 for 2 supermarket slices of bread with no butter and two basic eggs on top of the soggy white toast. Salad on the plate was a joke! €0.50 extra for a teaspoon of honey with an overpriced €3.50 coffee. €6 for a milkshake. I don’t mind paying for top quality food but if I can make better brekkie in a studio kitchenette then why bother going there. Service was alright. Staff seemed very busy. We were there when they opened last year and the experience was completely different. Sad to see the place decline so rapidly. Go for a coffee but...
