Ionian View Restaurant — Restaurant in Argostoli Municipality

This was the closest restaurant to my hotel, Maria Anna so was the first restaurant I ate at while on my weeks holiday here.

As it was windy it was a bit chilly so few people chose to sit inside but I sat outside with the views.... I was sooo cold! forgot my coat.

Wasn't a massive menu but there will be something for everyone.

Food was good, staff were friendly, views great, reasonably priced. Had mains, dessert and 2 cokes and was around 30ish Euros.

There was a really nice atmosphere with live Greek music, which we enjoyed a lot. However, the menu was very limited for vegetarians — apart from pasta and salad, there were no real options. What about some protein for vegetarians? Legumes or tofu would have been great. The beetroot, carrot, and corn salad we ordered felt childish and tasteless, and the vegetarian pesto pasta was mediocre at best.

We had a good time thanks to the vibe and drinks, but I wouldn’t come back...

I came here for a meal with a view (obviously) and was not disappointed in that department. However, the food was less than mediocre, in fact pretty poor especially for the money, & the ambiance left a lot to be desired.
