Kanali Beach — Attraction in Argostoli Municipality

Walking down is not so bad, and back up if you take a break. It’s best to have proper shoes/trainers and there is a small muddy section where reeds have been chopped to walk on, it’s possible in sandles though it’s steep.

Because of the walk the beach isn’t so busy, people are spread out, well until people come and sit next to you with kids… (we were clothed) 😏😳 moved along towards the further end to go nude where others were, and it was nice to go for a nude swim away from people. Other couples moved with us presumably to get away from kids near entrance.

Good beach and for nudist, we will go back to because of its quietness.

But to be honest it’s easier to go to Trapezaki Beach Walking from the car park and over the rocks to the beach there than come down the steep...

Great rustic place, but don't try the climb unless you have stamina. No shade or umbrellas, got to bring your own. Good luck hauling stuff back. Some people go nude here, so adults only. I'd recommend you bring water and good climbing shoes. Parking is bad also... DO NOT DRIVE A BIG CAR DOWN THIS ROAD or you'll be sorry. If you have a smaller car you can try, but if there's other cars there you'll have a hard time getting out. When you drive in, take a look and see if there's a few cars down there, if there is, consider leaving your car on the upper road and walking down. Your car may get blocked and you may not be able to come out if you drive down and someone is blocking you when you leave. Scenery is amazing from the top before...

Amazing beach. Mostly sand with large pebbles sections. Floor of sea is sandy which is great. Beautiful blue sea. Unspoilt beach. No facilities so come prepared. The journey from road to beach is a little tricky. Mainly the steep concrete slopes at the start but you do have a hand rail and the steep concrete steps also, plus the final wooden stairs at the end may be tricky for some. Takes about 10 minutes. Rest of the trail is straightforward with shade. Wear shoes/sandles you feel confident tackling these in. Would highly recommend! Any nudists went to the far end of the beach out of site.
