Cinnamon Cafe — Restaurant in Argostoli Municipality

We had great service here during the evening, with the waiter taking time to tell us what he would recommend. However, we went at about 4pm one afternoon and my partner inadvertently sat in a chair that had a great blob of bubblegum on the seat - he didn't see it and needless to say it got stuck to his shorts. We told the female server about it, she said sorry, but just moved the chair to the next vacant table - meaning the next customer was going to also get bubblegum on their clothing. I had a drink that had ice and I managed to remove the main amount of gum by cooling it to make it brittle, but by then our experience was spoiled and we just wanted to go. The female server didn't offer any kind of discount off our bill or make any attempt to offer help with removal of the gum. The cafe wasn't busy, so no offer of help came as a disappointment. We have tried a number of ways to remove the gum, but it still remains - so our memory of this great cafe is a member of staff who didn't really care about the customers experience and a ruined...

Really untrustworthy people. The worst service ever. I went early in the morning to make an order of pastries for the boat trip of the day, and asked both to the guy at the counter and to the woman with glasses 5 sausage pies and one ham & cheese, repeating myself 6 times to be sure they understood. They asked us to wait 20 min even though we were getting late to our reservation, and we accepted. After more than 20 min I see they had almost prepared everything, and a couple of minutes later, by the time I went to the cashier, they sold the pies I ordered to other people. Terrible behaviour! I tried to ask if there was any misunderstanding and they were ignoring me. I had to ask 3 times which was the problem to receive at least some (fake) excuses. These people don't really know how to deal with Clients. Never...

Tried the chocolate and banana crepe at Cinnamon Cafe in Argostoli and it was absolutely delicious! Sweet, rich, and perfectly made — definitely a highlight. However, the overall experience could be improved. The place wasn’t very clean, and both the restaurant and the staff could use a bit more care and attention.
