Crazy George's — Restaurant in Argostoli Municipality

Came here last night for a meal with my partner , waited about 15 minutes before we got asked for drinks. Then waited a further 10 minutes for them to arrive , just for them to be slammed on the table followed by the bill . Then waited another 15 mins before being able to order any food, then we ordered the meatballs filled with cream cheese and spring rolls , spring rolls were good and so were the meatballs . However only got 6 meatballs …

Then we had our mains , they arrived before the starters had even been cleared !! I ordered the chicken gyros meal and my partner ordered chicken alacreame and he did enjoy his but the chicken gyros meal was very bland and had no taste at all!

Then we ordered another drink and a bottle of water, a lady with dark brown long hair and glasses brought them over and put the water glasses on the table and then put the bottle of water on the empty table next to us and said “ I’ll put it here “ and then said “ actually no I put it on your table so you can reach it “ like what the hell??

So you don’t offer to pour the water or anything , just dump it down ?? Honestly such bad service , we were going to order desserts but decided not too because of the prices and waiting ages !!

We ordered 4 drinks ,2 starters and 2 meals for 73 euros , so pricy and not even a good experience . Wouldn’t recommend...

Speaking of food—incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked with care. You can tell they take pride in offering a menu that respects different dietary needs without sacrificing taste. And just when you think you’re done, out comes dessert. Even if you protest (and trust me, you will), George or one of the servers will slide it across the table with a grin and a “just try it.”

Free desserts. Always. Even when you say no.

Been twice whilst here and plan to go again to try more of the amazing menu.

Food is beautiful the feta in honey starter is so delicious. Chicken fajita is soft and delicious. Chicken la crème was delicious. Portion sizes are generous. Good selection of drinks.

Kids are welcome and no matter how late children are welcome. This is a very family-friendly place.

The outdoor seating area is very clean, no wasps landing on everything you eat.

Staff are very friendly and attentive but at the same time will let you sit after you finish eating and just relax. You often see people playing cards with a drink after they have eaten. We took dobble with us last night to play with our daughter whilst we finished our drinks.
