Olive Grove — Hotel in Argostoli Municipality

Great choice. Family of 4 suited all our needs.|Location perfect nice and peaceful.|Hired car for 2 weeks €45 /per day from Joseph at Helenas apts great guy great rate basic Citeron C3 but AC perfect and he let us take it to Zante.|Covered the whole island so a car is a must if you want to see as much as possible. (I'm a boring 00 alcohol drinker so no DD worries)||Apartment perfect way nicer than the one we had in Crete last year. Plenty of space for family 4 and we only had a basic room. |Beds excellent really comfy.|Bathroom great shower contained so no flooding of the floor.|Basic kitchen hob toaster kettle and only 1 cooking pot but we managed to make some great meals with a little improvisation great fun to.|Maids do a fabulous job rooms kept spotless bedding/towels changed regularly enough and always happy smiling faces.|Pool area is fantastic for adults and kids. Sadly there's always those idiots that put towels on sunbeds then go out for the day but to be fair we didn't really struggle for sunbeds.|Pool stays open late unlike some places that close their pools at 8pm.|Gardens and surrounding areas kept beautiful clean and maintained.|Maria her daughter and Gregory were very helpful any issues Gregory is straight on it and sorts it out.|Overall an excellent experience and we still have 6 days left.|If I have to say something slightly negative it would be some of the patio furniture needs updating and I would agree with some other reviews about the bar prices being a little high actually more expensive than the UK which is surprising but having said that its not just Olive Grove its the island in general.|I think the bar area would be a lot busier if the prices were lower.||For us it's definitely been a 10/10 place to stay.|We dont ever go back to the same place twice big world out there to explore but we would highly recommend Olive Grove without a doubt.|Thank you to Maria and all your staff.|Joe Hyunah...

We have just had 5 nights at the Olive Grove Studios. I was a bit nervous of a 3star place but reviews were generally good. I’m so glad we booked! There were always plenty of loungers by the pool and this is high season! Maria and all her staff are friendly and welcoming. The three pools are perfect. Always clean. The snack bar isn’t the cheapest but it’s great for what you need and they let you have a tab so no need for money on you all the time by the pool. The bar seems to stay open as long as people need it to but it’s never noisy. I came with my two daughter in their 20’s and there was a mix of younger families and older families and couples. The beach was a 10 minute walk away and had loungers, a bar and paddles boards for hire ( be careful when it’s windy! ) At least half a dozen lovely places to eat within a 10-15 minute walk away. We never had a bad meal. Supermarket stays open until gone 10pm and is also less than 10 minutes away. In the apartments, facilities are basic. €9 a day for air con which I knew before arrival. Worth it though. Cooking facilities are basic. If you want to make some pasta or a sandwich you’ll be fine. There’s a toaster and a kettle and a fridge. We ate out every night so it was absolutely fine for us. Bins emptied daily and towels changed every three days If your in two minds about this place don’t be! And book it. I would definitely come back. One point - we got up early one day for a trip and there was no water. It came back on within half an hour but worth baring in mind if you have an early start. Excellent Location, Lack of information in Regards to Accessibility for People with Mobility issues.. We did ask for ground floor only to be confronted with two flight of Stairs.|Staff very friendly and excellent customer service.|External of the hotel very clean , pool area kept very clean ..|We're currently staying for two weeks , finding the Lack of cleanliness in the rooms a bit of an issue , So far our Rooms have been cleaned once since being here , and towels changed once . |I've managed to wash the sheets by Hand , and have gone out to buy my own cleaning products to keep the apartment clean 😔.|I think a few tweaks into the cleaning of rooms more regularly to keep things more hygienic would definitely be a bonus 👌|I think the Air con is charged way to much , going on experience staying at other hotels within the Area. |Lack of cooking facilities for Self catering definitely makes it a challenge to cook and prepare food , but again if improvements we're made then it would of been more of an enjoyable Stay. ||I made Our holiday Rep aware of these issues from the start of our holiday, but nothing was done.||People may think this a negative review, but it's for the Management team to understand where improvements are needed.||Would I stay again , yes if there was improvement.|Would I recommend this hotel Yes .|I would say if you have Mobility issues then communicate with Management to get ground...
