Moschato Estate Villas — Hotel in Argostoli Municipality

Absolutely wonderful villa. We stayed a week in Villa Laura and had a wonderful relaxing week. The villa is beautiful offering you everything you could possibly need. The villa is spotlessly clean and welcoming. Wonderful touches such as an amazing welcome hamper comprising organic fruit and veg, coffee, milk, butter, local honey, water, local wine, and their very own olive oil to name a few. Things such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder are provided. Even BBQ briquettes, olive wood and fire fighters. You literally just unpack and start to enjoy your holiday. |The hosts are wonderful and always available if needed via WhatsApp after the initial greeting.|The villas are finished to a high standard both in and outside offering a wonderful pool & outside lounge and dining area. Again, spotlessly clean outside.|We hired a car to get around as we travelled to the north of the island as well as some places closer by. But you can walk to two lovely beaches and numerous tavernas and eateries. There is also a small shop in the village about a 10 min walk away offering you everything you will need for your stay.|I cannot recommend the Moschato estate villas enough.|We loved it so much we have already booked for next year and cannot wait to go back.||Regards the 2 previous reviews. We stayed 27th Sept - 4th Oct and experienced no noise issues at all from screaming children. I must say as a couple we go out of season to avoid children as we like peace and quiet also. If there had been children screaming then we would of politely spoke to the parents. |The gardeners from the estate came once only during our stay and were there for 3 hours max.|On our last day there was some noise from a strimmer but I believe it was coming from the Avithos Resort next door. Not much to do in the immediate area the beach is a fair walk and then down a serious cliff. Restaurants are generally basic and cheap.||The Virginia Villa was just perfect big tv, aircon and fans good water pressure modern fittings Netflix and amazon prime app to use, internet slow but just about acceptable. Towels a bit thin, sunbeds uncomfortable as they have a sharp bar across your back. Beautiful outside furniture and well equipped kitchen.but completely spoilt by a family in another villa with two boys who never stopped screaming and parents who irresponsibly took them out of school holiday time.||We book villas outside of school holidays as other peoples children are incredibly annoying.|Also the other villa had a stream of quick turnarounds all with screaming babies.|If the villa was on its own it would be perfect.||So if you were there between 27th Sept and 12th October in future try considering others and not being so selfish.||Unless you can book all three you will hear conversations from the other two all the time.||There was a-lot of site clearing nearby so the noise was also developments ongoing so ask if this is going to be a problem if you book for 2024.||Shame really because the owners seemed nice and the accommodation was lovely. Maybe they should make them adults only or give guidance to keep the ridiculous noise levels down.||You might get lucky and have considerate neighbours in which case you will love it.||Good luck to the owners but the plot is too small for three villas the middle one is shaded and directs all the noise to the virginia villa.||Or maybe take earplugs and leave them in or why not be selfish yourself and take your own screaming baby and annoy everyone on the flights and...

We have just checked out of Villa Laura and had an absolutely fabulous time. From the first contact with Dionisis and Dimitra they were extremely responsive, helpful and friendly and we felt instantly at ease booking with them and excited for our arrival. When we arrived at the villa we were pleasantly surprised, as it looks gorgeous online but the pictures don’t do it justice. The outside space is absolutely heavenly with a great size pool for 2 people, the comfiest sun loungers we’ve had on holiday and another comfy seating area and an additional dining table. The inside of the villa is modern and stylish, with a spacious comfy bed and powerful shower. We were thrilled when we arrived to be welcomed with a welcome package full of local olive oil, fresh bread and vegetables, honey, nuts and coffee ☺️ this really started off our holiday. The hosts also messaged an extensive list of restaurants near by and were there to lend a helping hand whenever we needed them. We particularly loved Sea salt, Avithos preview and Esperides all located near the villa. Cleaning came once while we were there which was great to get fresh towels and the pool was cleaned regularly while we were there which was also welcomed.
