Psarogatos — Restaurant in Argostoli Municipality

By far the worst service we have ever received in any country. We were greeted by a man who was very pleasant and found us a table. We were then served by a woman who I presume was the manager who couldn't have looked less interested in customer service, but we ordered and received our food which was fine. Then the plates were cleared and we were left for ages with no contact at all. Eventually the manager walked past and as we got her attention she asked do you want to pay, as we wanted the desert menu we said no so she just walked off. Eventually we got her attention again and asked for the menu which she got for us. The same nice guy who showed us to our table then started moaning at us saying " you could have asked for the menu" despite the fact that ls what we had just done. He then moaned that I was shaking my head and became incredibly rude. We asked for the bill instead and the manager woman who took our payment said we should have asked for the menu (which we had done) and then said they were very busy and we needed to be respectful. It was quite simply the worst experience we have ever had in any restaurant in any country. They were more concerned with setting up tables for new customers than dealing with the ones they already had. All in all a terrible experience which could have been avoided if they had even a semblance of a customer...

Mixed Experience at Fish Cat Restaurant

My family and I dined at Fish Cat Restaurant in Kefalonia on two occasions during our stay. Our first visit was exceptional, with delicious fresh fish and generous portion sizes. The service was attentive, and the overall experience left us eager to return.

However, our second visit did not live up to the expectations set by our first. Despite arriving with our entire family, the portion of fish I received was disappointingly (insultingly) small, which was made worse by the cut of the fish (corner ends), which left me feeling unsatisfied. While I chose not to make a scene in front of my family, it was clear that the restaurant was aware of their error. As a result, I felt it necessary to refrain from leaving a tip.

In conclusion, Fish Cat Restaurant has the potential to provide a memorable dining experience with its delicious food and attentive service. However, consistency in portion sizes and cut of their fish are areas that need improvement. I hope that the restaurant addresses this issue, as I believe it has the potential to be an exceptional dining destination...
