We tried Chicken Gyro with Taziki and Kebab gyro with Taziki and enjoyed till our last bit. The Gryros tasted a bit dry initially but got juicer as we worked through it. Gyros come in two size options, regular and large. If you are snakish, I would recommend go with the regular size as large size will really fill you up. Regular cost 2.99 EUR and large 4. 69 EUR for chicken and kebab Gyro. We also got small portions of sauce which is a mixture mayonnaise and mustard.

On a quest to try a cheese filled covered gyros, a variety where the souvlaki is sandwiched between two grilled pita breads, I stumbled upon this spot in a charming square behind the Panathinaikos Stadium. While it didn’t quite live up to some of the top-tier souvlaki experiences in Athens, it offered good value for money. We have eaten here several times now, and each time was lovely. The waitress was always friendly, and helpfully has very good English. She was also fairly pleased with our attempts at Greek, which was encouraging.

The food is of a good standard, with options for size, depending on how hungry you are. They do big gyros, small gyros or you can choose souvlaki by the skewer. They have decent salads too.
