Ordered food and a beer, 45 minute wait for food and in that time the beer (and me) was ignored....by the time things arrived I was almost convinced it had all been forgotten and was about to get up and leave. Had to remind him again when the food arrived that I ordered a beer, would have been nice to drink it while I waited for food.....I may have ordered another one then 🤔 Portion size very large, but portion size doesn't make up for lazy preparation. Pasta arrived as one luke warm glued together lump, suggesting to me that it had sat on the pass under a heat lamp giving it time for the pasta to soak up all sauce and stick together as there was no sauce to speak of, dish was poorly seasoned with a ridiculous amount of parmesan cheese on top. Basically dry chicken fillet hidden at bottom with sticky boring pasta dumped on top. Caesar salad was about as far from a Caesar as you can imagine. Dry cold chicken dumped on top of a plate of lettuce with sour dressing and shaved parmesan on the side. Zero points for presentation and taste on both counts, zero points for service. Left most of the food behind. Worst €20 I've ever spent on food in Greece. Sorry guys, can't for the life of me figure out why you are even slightly busy. The experienced Chef that I am was attracted by the full tables, but thoroughly disappointed by the result. Pasta isn't hard, Caesar isn't hard and neither is...
Read morePlenty of dishes to choose from both for main and deserts as well as starters. For drinks I would say there is a nice variety for everyone.
The service it's ok, don't expect smiles etc from the stuff and they are always in a hurry (like fast walking everywhere stressed).
The atmosphere needs work... The tables are too close to one another inside and outside so there isn't space to move around and you are always hearing what is being discussed in the tables close to you. I understand that they have used every bit of space they have in order to have more tables but for me it's too close and personal. Guess if you don't mind then it's a nice space. Also the tables that are across the street are sometimes forgotten by the service so I would recommend once you get the dishes to also ask for the check at the same time in order to save yourself waiting time afterwards. Furthermore , I don't feel safe at these tables bc many people pass by them kas they are set in a pavement) and I was nearly robbed twice. The WC it's ok, could be better in a hygienic sence.
Overall its a nice stop to eat and drink sth but not a place where I would relax and...
Read moreMy dissappointed and mostly negative mark is addressed only to the shef made a wholemeal pizza in this generally nice place. I have got upset, because being a loyal customer of Ciao restaurant on the Siggrou street, I was sure with a big trust to enjoy my order at this place as well as in another chain Ciao cafe. But the pizza I got was extremely burnt, it might be visible from the top, I understand that due to huge bake machine with a high temperature the corners of the bread could be little bit burnt, I accept this cases and just avoid eating this part of pizza. But latest visit made me realized that pizza was burnt not only from its top, unfortunately from the bottom also, so it was unpleasant to eat it and found coal taste and smell in your mouth, considering that I was pregnant. I saw the shef was totally busy and full of work, but it does not make sense, the result suppose to be perfect. Pizza demands attention and careful baking, and its a shame of shef to hold it too long in the oven without cheching the process and serve burnt this to the people. Never come back to this shop, satisfied with Ciao on...
