As a group of Americans we had a mix of adventurous and not so adventurous eaters. Both were happy with this place. We could smell the delicious food before we saw the place. It’s a cute inexpensive place to dine that was walking distance from our hotel. The lazy chicken was perfect for our non adventurous eaters but a lot of food for 12 Euros. They ask if you want a half or whole lazy chicken. It’s literally half or whole chicken with fries and bread. A half lazy chicken could easily feed 2 people. The souvlaki in the bottom right corner was by the piece, basically a wooden skewer. I had the chicken and enjoyed it. Others in our group had the lamb kebabs, pork chops and stuffed burger. Two of us ordered the tomato and cucumber salad and it was much larger than we expected, we shared it with the table and still couldn’t finish it. Service was fantastic! I definitely recommend the place, it’s especially great for those on budget or the first time traveler who is venturing into the local...
Read moreWe decided to go here for our last dinner in Greece. Just a 5-10 minute walk from our hotel (Intercontinental) we had a table outside with a nice breeze which helped in the heat. The prices are really low and the food was excellent authentic Greek food! The lamb kebabs were excellent, the Chaloumi cheese with tomato and pesto was so tasty, the spicy cheese spread was great with a gentle kick, the Greek salad was perfect with a great slab of feta, see pics Below. Our waitress was so nice and a ball of energy. The white wine and beers went perfect with everything and again it was so inexpensive. At the end our waitress brought out a nice container of Tsilili Tspouro for us to end the evening with. A memorable last night in Greece 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷Highly recommend you try this spot far an authentic local Greek meal, nothing fancy but it’s hard not to fall in love...
Read moreWe stayed at the Grand Hyatt, this spot came up closest after a quick search and did not disappoint when we wanted a no fuss dinner. We do have a non meat eater in our group and unfortunately they do not serve seafood as they are a grill house. We ordered greek salad, tzatiki, eggplant salad, chalouma, chicken souvlaki and lamb kebab plate with extra side of potatoes (fries). The non grill items were served to us first, pitas were delicious and grill items came out a bit later. Tables were tiny but the host added more little side tables for us to put away our glasses. Everything came out great and we all ate to our hearts contents. Best of all with the amount of food that we got, the bill was...
