We had just arrived in Athens. Needed to feed my 10 year old, so we decided to walk in the neighborhood and what a find!! The food is fantastic. The Moussaka was the best I have had in a long long time. The honey leg of lamb is to die for. The service is excellent with smiling faces and courteous exchanges. What tops the food and the service is the owner, Kiki. If you go, make sure you meet her. She's the engine that makes it all work to perfection. Literally 1/3 the price of the chic Michelin-listed (and very good) restaurant we dined at near Syntagma Square; 1/2 the price of the extremely overrated Bib Gourmand restaurant near the Benaki Museum we visited.

The waitress was upset, but I couldn't eat spoiled food. The dishes looked nothing like the photos, and the overall experience was unpleasant.
