Ένα ζεστό χώρο που σε αγκαλιάζει με την απλότητα του και το εξαιρετικά φιλικό προσωπικό. Αλλά και την απίστευτη θέα της Ακρόπολης που στέκει μπροστά σου πλαισιωμένη από το Λυκαβηττό και το λόφο Φιλοπάππου. Είχα ήδη ρίξει μια ματιά στο μενού και είχα κυριολεκτικά κολλήσει στο Ψάρι φρικασέ. Και πραγματικά δεν απογοητεύτηκα. Η πρώτη μικρή πιρουνιά έστειλε κύματα απόλαυσης στο μυαλό μου. Ομολογώ ότι είμαι παράξενος στο φαγητό και ίσως και ιδιότροπος. Αλλά αυτό που δοκίμασα δεν μου άφησε περιθώρια αμφιβολίας. Απόλαυσα κάθε δόση της χορταστικής μερίδας παραδομένος στον συνδυασμό γεύσεων. Τα μύδια, το αυγοτάραχο, τα λαχανικά, το ψάρι, όλα μαζί, έστησαν ένα γευστικό χορό που δεν είχα απολαύσει ποτέ ξανά. Από το τραπέζι μας πέρασε όλη η Μεσόγειος. Κόκορας παστιτσάδα από Κέρκυρα, Μικρασιατικό μαντύ με μοσχάρι κοκκινιστό (θυμήθηκα την μητέρα μου), χταπόδι στιφάδο (λουκούμι), κριθαράκι κοκκινιστό με ουρά μοσχάρι (δεν υπάρχουν λόγια). Το ένα καλύτερο από το άλλο. Η μία γεύση πιο Μεσογειακή από την άλλη. Η ποικιλία κρασιών συνεπής και άριστος σύνοδος των γεύσεων. Οι τιμές ακριβώς εκεί που πρέπει. Η εξυπηρέτηση από το προσωπικό μοναδική και είναι ένα από τα δυνατότερα χαρτιά του εστιατορίου. Αν θέλετε να μαγευτείτε από το χώρο,τους ανθρώπους, τη θέα και την ατμόσφαιρα σίγουρα θα βάλετε ψηλά στις επιλογές σας για φαγητό το @opposite_at_507. Γιατί οι επιλογές του φαγητού σίγουρα δεν θα σας απογοητεύσουν.

We met in the new cozy and warm restaurant "Oppositeat507.gr" where the view takes your breath away... Acropolis, Athens! We tried -almost- all the amazing dishes "by Ettore Botrini" and I really don't know which one to choose as "best". Excellent raw materials and Mediterranean - basically - recipes, in such a tasty result from the multi-awarded chef. Congratulations!!

We went to Opposite on our first night in Athens and we were totally blown away. The food and appetizers were exceptionally well presented and had very unique and flavorful twists to traditional Greek cuisine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A shout out to our server Alex, so friendly and efficient. We originally had reservations at a different restaurant on the second night of our stay but we cancelled and went to Opposite instead. Amazing experience! Located at the roof of Athens 507 B.C. hotel, it offers top notch view of Acropolis, Lycabettus and beyond. In addition, the staff showed excellent professionalism and kindness. If you thought gourmet kitchen will leave you hungry, think again. You should skip meal before visiting this amazing restaurant.
