Peinirli Ionias — Restaurant in Athens

Chanced upon this local bakery and thought it looked really impressive, extremely local and authentic. All the signs were in Greek so we had to google translate to figure out what to order, that’s when you know it’s gotta be really good. The peinirlis were continuously made on the spot and the different flavours were being baked as and when they ran out. Got the ham and cheese as it came out freshly baked from the oven and it didn’t disappoint. The team in the kitchen looked really skilled and definitely knew how to make great peinirlis.

So, it's not so hard to express what I believe for this amazing 😍 shop. I have been so many times , and every time my feeling is a the same and I believe I became a fun of THAT peinirli. You can taste how authentic is form the first bite (I am not joking at all) . It has a huge variety and everything is fresh you can smell all the different kinds of peinirli and you want to eat them all. The place is incredible! It features mainly traditional Greek pies and their specialite are what we call in Greece "penirli", white-bread with fillings from feta cheese, pepper and mice to regular cheese with ham etc. Pizzas, sandwiches and so many more can be found there. The ingredients are so fresh and original the taste is superb. The personnel maintaines a commitment to high-quality food and is really kind and helpful!
