We we were looking forward to our THAI dinner to the new SIAM THAI, was close and promising. We had a dine-in experience but were overall disappointed: though the overall atmosphere is cute, the place is nice and clean, staff is sweet and courteous, despite not being overly booked that night, service on a weekday was veeery slow and erratic. The food itself was average, and we have been to a few Thai places in Athens (Tuk Tuk, Royal Thai are great!) and around the world: both of our main dishes were kind of indifferent, lacking character, spice, zest, anything that is Thai. And although they did use holy basil but the sauce was all wrong and not at all spicy even though i asked for it to be spicy. My search for a good Thai place in Athens...
