Very disappointing experience, not recommended!!!
Yesterday we celebrated my friend’s birthday at this restaurant. The table was booked in advance, a week ago, with a specific seat chosen. However, when we arrived, a certain “manager” approached us and in a rude and confrontational manner asked why we were sitting at that table without even asking him first.
We calmly tried to explain that the reservation was made in advance, and my friend had personally come to choose this table. But he did not listen to us at all, kept interrupting, ignored all attempts to explain, and literally forced us to move to another table.
At the beginning, we immediately handed over the cake and asked to keep it in the fridge. However, at the end, when we had finished our main dishes, we asked for the cake to be brought out and it arrived melted. Also we repeatedly asked for plates and utensils to eat the cake, but they were just brought in a stack and placed on the table without being properly set for each guest, then the staff left immediately.
Such treatment of guests, especially during a birthday celebration, is just not right. We are really disappointed, and this rude behavior completely ruined the birthday...

What is listed as "Fish Fillet" on the English menu, turned out to be a pan seared, boned, sea bass, served over a nicely prepared celery root puree (= mash), surrounded by an assortment of small, colorful, locally grown, seasonal veggies: zucchini squash, carrot, tiny boiled potato, and what not, with occasional strands of lemon peel ("lemon confit"). This was topped by home made potato chips (thankfully not so salted) and, to my delight, four tabs of ketchup in the corners, for me to dip the chips.
I am grateful to the chef, for preparing such a feast for my senses.
Ellados Eikones is a Greek restaurant by the sea, at the boundary between Paleo Faliro and Alimos, near Alimos marina and the magnificent Acti Iliou beach, conveniently located on the coastal boulevard, near tram and bus stops.
Think of superb "nouvelle" Greek cuisine with a sea breeze and impeccable service, at unbeatable low...
Read moreWe had booked a specific table one week in advance, but the man who was in charge that day did not allow us to sit there, he behaved very disrespectful, he was shouting at us, interrupting when we tried to explain the situation with the reservation, not letting us to say a word to clarify the situation (acting like this with guests is not okay at all, with young girls especially). We asked to put our birthday cake in the fridge, but when it was brought out, it was damaged. There was no proper serving sometimes. We waited 30 minutes to receive the bill. We came expecting a nice celebration but the whole impression was ruined from the very beginning. We cannot complain about the food, but when you go to a restaurant you expect also a good service and a...
