This review is kind of in order of impressions. To start off, I'm a pescatarian. There were simply no vegetarian main dishes, so my choice of dish was quite slim.
I thought I ordered grilled sardines, and assumed it would come with a small salad or frites since it was a main dish. They were cooked, but not grilled or fried. The warm sardines came on a bed of half a tomato, which is not much of a side dish to complete a main dish in my opinion. Kind of surprised they let the plate out the kitchen like that to be honest.
The menu was generally more expensive than other restaurants in the area, with things like water, drinks and bread being twice as expensive, comparatively.
Waiter was friendly and competent, besides asking if everything was ok after we had finished eating (which is pretty late to ask).
This is the first restaurant I've been to in Greece that didn't offer raki or a tiny thing "on the house". Not that I can demand the traditional hospitality Greek culture is known for, but I thought it was interesting to note that this is the only one.
We went to this restaurant because we were recommended by our hotel, so we didn't check reviews. Speaking of, low reviews seem to get harassed by the owner. So I'd like to state that my review is entirely factual; what happened happened, and how I felt is how I felt. âď¸đĽ°

Read moreWe arrived around 9pm for dinner and it seemed like a nice restaurant. The lights and ambiance of the place was good.
However, the service was appalling. Took forever to be given water and we had to aggressively flank for attention so the staff will come take our order.
When we wanted to order more, the waitress told us it will take very long because there are other customers they have to serve. We were taken aback, and took her advice to not add any more dishes.
If you are used to the size of octopus dish at other restaurants, be warned that itâs a an appetizer here, even though it doesnât state that in the menu. Itâs a TINY dish that would be good for 2 people. Other dishes we ordered were very salty.
We truly wanted to like this place. But after seeing how disorganized the place was and how they turned away other customers, even though they had clean empty tables, we didnât feel wanted or welcomed.
We wonât return to this...
Read moreWas recommended this place by the receptionist at our hotel and I think less of her for doing so. (there are fliers for the restaurant at the front desk as well as the hotel room, so they might be paid to do so.)
When you go to a restaurant it's nice to feel welcome, or at least have your presence tolerated, but that was too much to ask for in this instance. Surly faced staff who seemed bothered by the existence of customers without the hint of a smile or a friendly hello should have been the red flag to turn around and go anywhere else, but maybe the food would be amazing? It wasn't. It was just okay, and at that price you'd expect to be full when you left, but alas. The way the owner dismisses the bad reviews is the exact vibe that permeates...
