The views from Thalassa was amazing and initially what we were going for, a nice sunset dinner!
Drinks and wine were very nice and so was the fish roe dip with bread we ordered as an appetiser. But dinner was mediocre.
The road up was quite bad and I really recommend taking a taxi, ours was unable to take us the last 150m because of the conditions so this needs to be considered since it’s an uphill walk, didn’t matter for us though! We were a bit bothered by the cars arriving during our dinner because of the parking being so close to the seating area and the condition of the road making it noisier than usual. We were also a bit unlucky and had quite a few tables with people speaking on the phone during dinner which is really an atmosphere killer but we’ve also noticed that it seems quite common in Greece, even at nicer restaurants.

Read moreThalassas in Sivota is truly one of a kind. From the moment you arrive, you feel the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The food is outstanding fresh, full of flavor and without a doubt the best you can find in Sivota. Every dish we tried was cooked perfectly and it’s clear that the chef puts a lot of passion into the kitchen. The service was excellent as well attentive, friendly and always with a smile, which made the whole experience even better.
What makes Thalassas even more special is the location. The view over the sea is simply breathtaking and watching the sunset here is an unforgettable experience. The setting is calm and peaceful, creating the perfect place to enjoy dinner and relax. Honestly, there is no other place in Sivota quite like this, the combination of amazing food, warm service, and the unique atmosphere makes it...

The correctly cooked chicken was great, however I was put off after the multiple pink pieces. If you go, just make sure you ask them to cook the chicken through. My guests all enjoyed their meal a lot (various sea food options & pork chop)
View is absolutely stunning, one of the best I've ever seen. The bread was nice, as was the beetroot dip. However, chicken souvlaki was pink...video/pic in the review. Also there are a million wasps here, not the restaurants fault but they also don't seem to do much to help...
