Dōdṓnē — Restaurant in Ioannina Municipality

Dear owner, my review aims to inform others and you (if you are interested) on my experience. It does not relate to any personal material, but just the food and service. You are making some personal comments, ironic too, which is not professional. Let me decide if I am confused or not. We didn’t like your food and we have the right to communicate our views. You may not agree, that’s fine, but you have to respect views which they don’t agree with yours.

"It depends on what your previous experiences have been. Perhaps if you are a student or new to "meze" kind of cuisine then it could be ok. For people who have been in other authentic meze places elsewhere (across Greece) it is a disappointment. Clean and friendly staff yet bland and substandard food. The idea to have 50ml of ouzo...

I went due to the high reviews on Trip Advisor. Frankly, the food was bellow my expectations...Service was excellent and quick, friendly staff. Dishes were not how i am accustomed to have them served. The "Giaourtlou" with baked soutzoukakia and the Yogurt in a seperate bowl, was definitely not to my liking...The Gigantes were blunt, the pork sausage not recommended...The Politiki Salad was indeed very good, the tzatziki contained ...mayonnaise!! So, I do not recommend...

The best taverna we ate in Greece for our two weeks stay! All portions were excellent (all in my family sensitive to lactose - all our requests were fulfilled and we were advised taking in the account the limitation) and the food was very tasty! The prices are fair as well. There is free parking 2 min walking from there to the right if you are facing the lake (almost empty in the high season) and plenty of parking place along the street in the...
