Achinos Tuti Beach Halkidiki — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

We are guests from Serbia. We must admit that this is one of the best beach bars we have visited in Greece, and we have been guests at various locations for years. The ambiance is beautiful, there is no crowd, and the service from the waiters and other staff on the beach is top-notch. The price-quality ratio is at an enviable level, although it is one of the more expensive bars.

What slightly spoiled the image of the bar is the staff responsible for reservations, including the hostesses. They are very rude and unprofessional and realistically spoil the image of such a concept. A particular impression with her rudeness and unprofessionalism was left by a beautiful, young blonde hostess, with blonde hair and light eyes, who was so rude that she ruined the beautiful image we had in the previous days. Namely, we came for the weekend without a reservation. We didn't know that it gets crowded on weekends, as we had been coming every day and were sure there would be a spot for us. They greeted us quite unpleasantly, literally got into an argument with us, and left us waiting for two hours in the lounge bar. We accepted that, everything was okay. However, what crossed all boundaries was when the mentioned blonde girl, who ignored us the whole time we were waiting, obviously and intentionally seated guests who arrived after us and were also waiting, finding them a spot on the beach.

We write this with the intention that the bar management will read it and recognize that guests come first and that it is tragic for rude and obviously unqualified staff at the entrance to spoil the image of this wonderful concept.

This was a horrible experience. Me and my boyfriend are visiting Kassandra for the second time together. Last time we found a place where we were going every day. This year we went back and the place was a lot more expensive, so we tried to switch it up. We visited achinos since it had good reviews on google. When we got there, the hostess was okay. As soon as we sat down they placed the bill on our table. The sunbeds were 15 euros per person. When we ordered Coca Cola, it came in a glass, without the can (its from the tap). Apart from that we order a club sandwich and a chicken burrito. The club sandwich was alright, but the chicken burrito was horrible. The avocado in the burrito was brown/black and almost as it’s been in the fridge and someone just heated it up. Judging from how fast the food came that’s probably the case. Apart from the tap drinks, and the food, we didn’t order anything else. They give you towels for the sunbeds, and I don’t know if they charge for that (since we didn’t get a receipt ?!??) but the bill came out 80 euro. That means, without the sunbeds, that we paid 50 euros for bad food and tap drinks. Again, we didn’t get a receipt, just the slip, so we couldn’t see what cost so much. The service was so bad, the workers were changing all the time, you order from one, then another one brings you your order and so on. One took our order, then forgot to bring us what we ordered, so we had to order it again after 45 minutes. Generally a very bad experience, money literally thrown on nothing and we won’t be coming back here. They charging like this...

My review refers to the restaurant only. This was supposed to be a somewhat fine dining experience - or at least close to that. The decoration, the vale parking and the personnel attire shout out that's it's not an average restaurant.

Unfortunately though all this stops right there. We got a variety of entrees - the shrimp in tomato sauce, the grilled aubergine, the fried baby calamari and the mackerel. Not a single dish managed to stand up to the standards, they all tasted bland; nothing special to remember of. There was certainly something wrong with the shrimp - I'm not a seafood expert but I think they might were not fresh. As for the service, they were polite but they were we super disorganized. Literally I haven't seen anything bad as this when it comes to synchronization of moves. They were really not busy at all but some were running around unnecessarily and others, like the hostess were just fooling around looking at their phones. At the same time instead of prioritizing the customers they were trying to solve their internal problems between them - I had to interrupt the hostess and one of the waiters who were talking to each other instead of taking us to the table.
