We chose this place randomly, but I was personally disappointed. We ordered a Greek salad, calamari, octopus, pork steak, and pasta. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for everything to arrive. The calamari portion was particularly disappointing—there were literally just five pieces, and the rest of the plate was filled with French fries. Don’t get me wrong, the calamari were tasty, but at other places, you can get better quality with a full plate of calamari. The octopus, on the other hand, was quite flavorful. It seems like everything here comes with French fries—if you’re looking to eat mostly fries, this is your place.
At the end of the meal, the restaurant offered a complimentary dessert, but they brought one less than needed. When it came time to pay, we wanted to use a card, but they asked us to come inside and kept us waiting while the waiter cleaned a table or something.
Overall, the place is decent, but considering the prices and portion sizes, you can definitely find better...
Read moreI was recommended Flisvos in Nidri by locals, and it truly hit the spot. The service was outstanding and so hospitable we were treated to bread, olives, and dip on the house, and later homemade yogurt with honey (the best honey I’ve ever tasted, from the owner’s friend’s bees).
The food was traditional and delicious. I ordered the moussaka and salad so yummy, just like my mum’s cooking. My daughter had the pork steak with chips and salad; it was huge, tender, and so tasty we even enjoyed the fat! The red sweet wine was perfect too.
The location along the Nidri port is beautiful, and while there are many restaurants in the area, this one stood out for its warm hospitality and authentic flavors. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back when I return to Lefkada.
The atmosphere was lovely, with authentic Greek music playing at just the right level a rare but wonderful touch compared to many places we’ve eaten at in Greece. For me, that was a big...
Read moreWe went to the restaurant last minute on a Saturday in august, we didn’t book but they let us sit in the front so we can have our double pram. We had 2 babies with us (4 months and 20 months ) The service was excellent, all the waiters were very professional, the maître or owner at the front (sorry I missed his name) came to have a good chat with us and made us feel so homie. Our babies were very settle with the atmosphere. Thank goodness because we were stressing out going to a restaurant with 2 babies … and the food was fantastic. Exactly what we felt like. We had veal and pork stake and they were absolutely amazing. Also the prices were very good as well. If I had to do a suggestion that would be maybe the bruschetta to change the name to “Greek bruschetta “ haha because I could hear all the Italian clients commenting about it. Thank you so much for going above and beyond for our family we will definitely come back ❤️ Love...
