Average food at expensive prices. We had an issue with an "off" wine, which was very promptly dealt.... however, we waited 20 mins for a 2nd round of drinks & then we had to get up from the table to alert someone to our needs & it took another 5 mins until someone came over. Considering there was only 1 other table of 4 in the restaurant, the level of service was appalling. It had been many years since I'd last been in & our friends were taken by all the illuminations & wanted to give it a try. We were all disappointed & they said that it was their worst experience over the last 10days. We reside on the islands & go elsewhere where we took them the last 2 nights... far better all round... we won't be back & sadly can't recommend it over & above...

Beautiful looking restaurant with food to match, visited twice in our weeks stay. First visit my husband had the prawns...never seen prawns so big they were amazing I had the lamb in greaseproof paper very tasty and filling. Second time round I had the beef cheeks only one word to describe the taste...WOW! OK it didn't look much on arrival yes I expected veg too but it was so tasty and they melted in my mouth also the mash was delicious and all very filling. We had garlic mushrooms to start too which were lovely. Red wine was the best id had here and white was also good. The service was the best we received at any of the restaurants. Poni our waiter has given us an excellent service throughout the whole night. Out of all the restaurants in Nidri, Panorama has been the best in quality and quantity from drinks, to starters and to mains. The food is genuinely absolutely delicious!The place it’s beautiful at it is already and we recommend this place for anyone visiting Nidri! 5 stars !!
