Iliovasilema — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

Disappointing. If I could describe this place in three words, it would be “Lefkadas worst restaurant”. First things first, we walked in and the place was really busy so we assumed that the food will be just as good as we expect it to be. The employee that set up our table was in a complete rush, and made us feel unwanted. They brought to the table a bottle of water and made us pay for it, even if we didn’t ask for it. After maybe 10 minutes a waiter came to take our order. We waited more than an hour and a half for our order (3 portions of grilled shrimp). So for the service, i’ll rate it one star out of five. Second, the food was TERRIBLE. As I mentioned before, we ordered grilled shrimp. And for the price of 54€, they couldn’t even make the effort to clean the shrimps and prepare them properly. The shrimps weren’t cooked enough, and were pretty raw. Also the prices were unfair. A Mythos beer was 5€ for example. On the other hand, speaking of the atmosphere, it was a ‘Greek night’, so the employer hired two men to sing. It was so loud and annoying that someone called the cops and fined the restaurant. I’m quite confused why so many people think it’s an expensive place to eat at. In this day and age, if you want to fine dine with shell fish on your plate , go to a seafood taverna, not a gyros place! My wife and I ordered a mixed meat platter, 4 types of meat in 5 different styles. We asked the waitor if the smaller 22€ platter would be enough for 2 and he swiftly agreed. I’m glad we went for this platter, it was the perfect amount of food for me and my wife. If you want a bigger portion , order a mixed platter and share it between 2 persons. Don’t come to this restaurant for the wrong reasons, expecting fine dining… you won’t recieve it. Service was slightly on the slower side but it was Saturday night and almost all the tables were taken. Would come here again for another...

Just move on and don't even think about to stop here. We found a table for two people. The waitress was polite and she cleaned the table asap. On the other hand there is only one waiter for the entire restaurant. He came to take our order late, he was like boring to serve as at all. Furthermore, we ordered a portion of Kontosouvli, a portion of fries, three pita breads and two colas. All of them ready to serve in a max of 10 minutes. Our order came more than 30 minutes after and the Kontosouvli it was cold and hard to eat. Pita breads and fries were at all tasteless.
