A cozy, truly boutique hotel, very small
It had all that we needed! Vicki was an absolute delight, responsive to messages and proactive in suggestions such as a beach umbrella and towels when we said we were out to the beaches, hints for restaurants
Location is good 5min from the shore, also from the “high street”! Restaurants all over, a very pleasant stay
Facility wise showers worked very well, also aircon, and WiFi.
The take away breakfast in a lil bag was not appealing, with so many wonderful places with fresh food, for any type of breakfast from full English to continental and Greek options
Just be careful, as we booked 4 months before, and there are two rooms, one large and spacious, which is what we might have been assigned originally, and another rather small! Last minute they might have had demand for our large room, and replaced with the little one for us. Yes very clean, new, but not much space within that little room we were allocated.
So we paid a high price in low season for the large room that we couldn't get, which is very sad.
Recommend, if you can, research well the area, as there are so many hotels, all very nice, clean, new, all close to the main places in Lefkada Town... And if you book, make sure that your room is allocated and confirmed, and not given away to another larger group that pay them...

Vicky, who is honestly one of the nicest hosts you are likely to meet, was a great help in the run up to (and during) the holiday helping us with everything from taxi transfers from the airport as well as things to do during our stay.
BOEM is conveniently located within Lefkada old town close to bars and restaurants (but far enough away not to catch any noise from them). Lefkada old town itself is beautiful and you can spend hours, as my wife did, exploring all its avenues and alleyways.
We stayed in two different rooms (Vicky kindly upgraded us to a bigger room for part of our stay and generally bent over backwards to look after us). Both rooms were immaculately clean and tidied each day.
We didn’t book for breakfast (my bad) but Vicky pointed us in the direction of a lovely bakery, well used by locals and tourists alike.
If you are thinking of staying in Lefkada then I have no hesitation in pointing you in the direction of BOEM Boutique Hotel. You will have a...
Read moreThe Bohemian Boutique hotel is a beautifully presented and stylish boutique hotel (seemingly brand new). The room was immaculate, perfect location only seconds from the seafront but on a charming, quiet street. Vicky was an amazing, helpful host - helping us out after a bit of a hire car disaster - and her father kindly waited to check us in despite us running very late. Would 100% recommend it as a base for exploring Lefkada town, or indeed the whole island. ||Trying to pick holes in near perfection - the only thing we could think of was if the water in the fridge could be replaced each day (the nespresso pods were) but that’s literally...
