I went out for dinner at "Veragi" restaurant yesterday with my family and my experience was just unforgettable! All dishes were delicious and service was lightning fast!

We tried papardelle with braised lamb and parmesan cheese, tagliata, grilled salmon fillet, the pork tenderloin and guilt-head bream with fried vegetables which was the day`s special dish.We also tried the colourful salad, fava and roast talagani cheese.Needless to say that everything was flowless!

We had rose wine "Tomi".You should take a look at the wine variety Veragi offers!

As for the prices, I think they were quite low compared to the quality. Value for money!

The only reason I put 1 star is the one kind and helpful waiter. We waited 1 h 20 m for grilled Kalamari and when it came it tasted like rubber , cold and very hard to chew. The pasta lamp was supposed to be extremely hot and already cooked for 4 h,and it was totally cold.We complained and the owner told us with an attitude very impolite that we have ordered our mains before 40 m and he insisted aggressively that we were right and he didn’t apologize but he sent the waiter to apologize but they weren’t eager to solve the problem. He told us that it was confusion with plates other people that ordered after us were already having the plates even though we ordered first. And what is the result? Fantastic food! Was very pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. The tables along the water looked super cute and inviting. Slight modern twist on some classic Greek dishes and a little pricier than other restaurants but definitely worth the money for the quality of the food. The xoriatiki (Greek salad) was absolutely delicious, with fresh sprigs of oregano (As a Greek I've only ever seen dried oregno used). The fava dip had it's own little twist and the saganaki with honey was just yum. I ordered the sea bream which was just divine. Fresh and perfectly seasoned, the flavours were amazing. The only thing I would say is the service needs a little work as it seemed a little unorganized and all over the place. But all in all staff were lovely...
