Whilst in Lixouri my family and I visited Café Pero multiple times.
On our first day we had lunch consisting of local dishes, stuffed peppers, Greek salad, bread and tzatziki. All which were delicious!
They have a great menu with many options. The portions and quality were great.
It became our usual morning spot for a delicious Freddo coffee and either fruit and yogurt or on the more hung over mornings waffles!
Then come the evenings it was an excellent spot for cocktails, with a long afternoon and evening of happy hour too!
The service was great up until the last day when they were under staffed. Our breakfast was quite delayed and when we had finished and were wanting to pay it took over 40 minutes to do so.
I would still recommend visiting - it’s an excellent central spot to take a break at any time of day! Plus they have some excellent photographs inside...

We had the fried eggs with bacon, which is poorly served with toast bread (1 slide for 2 eggs and bacon), the coffe is not good either. It's just a wanna-be-fancy-French-like coffee-place that somehow impresses people. We are defenetly not coming back. It's a shame but breakfast is simply not good.
