Now, 2 years later I took the trip for the 5th time. For me it's an absolute highlite of my trips to Kefalonia. This year a group of Italians joined us, very friendly and for some reasons we had some lefka krassi at 11 am....and kept on going!!! Again, the trip was stunning, the food was absolutely fabulous and the company was great. Best thing however, are Admiral (captain) Gerasimos and Maria.....they just make it happen and having fun doing it. For me...a trip to Kefalonia without this trip would not be complete. Yia Mas to prodo....

Took this trip for the third time and meanwhile became good friends with Admiral Gerasimos (the title Captain is just not enough for this great man) and Maria, his trusted shipmate and translator, a very special woman who will tell you everything you want to know about Kefalonia....fishing.... and also traditional cooking. Maria also paints beautifully, and is therefore, a woman of many talents. I would give them a 10 star rating out of 5. The trip is absolutely worth while doing and you never tasted better seafood than onboard Poseidon..... I would like to thank you for the exceptional experience aboard your boat last Friday, 26th September 2025. My wife and I greatly enjoyed the trip; it was a standout moment during our stay in Kefalonia, even possibly exceeding our visit in 2019. The choice of swimming locations was excellent. We particularly liked the friendly atmosphere of your small fishing boat, especially when contrasted with the larger party boats nearby, which appeared overcrowded and noisy. The team's professionalism, friendliness, and the valuable information you shared about your work, the island, local fish species, and culinary traditions made the day truly memorable.

The recommendations regarding sites to visit, details on the fishing industry, and identifying different types of fish were all highly informative and much appreciated.

Everyone on the trip, 8 in total ( plus the crew) of various nationalities, Italian, Belgian, Greek, Polish, and English, really had a great time, great food, great wine and great conversations We look forward to the opportunity to join you for another trip...

It is crewed by the skipper , his daughter and her partner martin - all lovely people and full of knowledge and history.

This is a local family business, the boat itself build by the captain . If your looking for that personal , unique and real sea experience then book here . You wont get anymore authentic greek family experience than this .

The food served was absolutely delicious, breakfast , lunch and then more !!

The skipper reels in the net set the previous night , we could all help unpick the catch from the net and the crew will cook some of this later on .

We visited some lovely locations , whilst on board , did lots of sea swimming and had lots of fun .

We shared the boat with some other great families as well it was a brilliant day .

The boat only takes upto 8 persons so you really get to see and get involved in the day out .

The best bit as well is your supporting a local family who work hard and keep it in the family.

We drove and hour from the other side of the island - it was definitely worth it .
