WOW! What a find. Having spent 2 months in Greece, Yamas served up a fantastic meal, personable service and all at a friendly price. Hands down our best meal in Greece!

We arrived at about 8.30 pm after a long drive, ordered a few appetizers, eggplant dip & fried cheese. Both well done. For main the Mrs. had lamb chops, perfectly prepared & seasoned. Meaty as well, which in of all places Greece is NOT a given. Our tablemate had risotto, which she thought was the best risotto she ever had. That's sayin' something. I was looking at the steak selection which sounded interesting. They were out of the Tomahawk Steak, yet the owner came over to the table and we talked meat for a bit. He then said, "I have a cut that is not Tomahawk, bit more to the front of the carcas and from Uruguay, but I dare to say it's an excellent cut". So, I took a shot........ Well, the meat was served quite rare as requested, very flavourful, well seasoned and had just the right amount of fat. Best steak I had in a long time!

Yamas, I can highly recommend...

Service brought us water and charged us for it without asking if we wanted water. When we ordered tzatziki and cheese salad, the server told us they were very similar so we told him we would take the cheese salad. Another waiter brought both and we said we just took the cheese salad so the original waiter came over and told us that we ordered both.... Language barrier maybe an issue but also not really feeling like he wanted to listen but rather just charge us. The moussaka was good but i think in general it isnt an amazing dish so wouldn't have again in general, the fried zuchini was good, a little greasy. The included dessert was amazing. When it came to pay he kept insisting we pay cash when we wanted to split payments when its clearly easy to just take 2 card payments... This shouldnt be such an issue. The serving vibe wasnt great and we had to fight for everything. This felt like a "The waiter is always right" rather than "Yes we can accomodate you"...

The good-

Location , location , location . This place has meteora mountain view (not the side of the Side of the monastery ) you can see from the road, it has nice balcony .

The waiter are very nice and the service is awesome .

The food is fresh and in reasonable prices .

They have nice music there.

There are dogs and cats in most of the places , so if you arnt like me, an animal lover , thake that in mind.

The bad-

In the balcony its not There is almost no wind and when it's hot it's noticeable. I recommend to sit in the entrance instead for this reason .

There are mosquitoes there, all of the time of the day, so be aware .

The size of the food portion isnt large.

it will be nice if they improve the details in the menu and offer more Detailed food menu.
